Drove from south OC... definitely worth the hype! I went on a Sunday at around 1pm, there was no line when I entered. However, I left at around 1:10pm and went to trader joes for a quick second and by 1:30 there was a line of about 10-15 people out the door! The variety of candy is great, lots to choose from. The staff are friendly and a bunch of them were running around the tiny store picking online orders. I'm not a fan of super sweet things and have zero interest in typical american candy anymore because they just taste artificial and way too sweet. You can actually taste the fruits in the candies here and can smell the aroma of each fruit as you're chewing on them. If you love hard gummies like I do, I definitely suggest the sour raspberry bottles and mini sour fruit skulls! Bubs are great- I got the pomegranate/strawberry one. Bubs have a texture that's a middle ground between taffy(close to hi-chew), gummy, and marshmallow. Flavoring on bubs are very light, however. I also got the chocolate covered vanilla/caramel marshmallow and if you've ever had lotte's choco pies, it's similar to that except without the cake/cookie! You can really smell the aroma of the vanilla and the milk chocolate isn't unnecessarily sweet. The butterflies and foam flowers are super foamy and chewy- love them. I scrolled through their website before I stopped by so I had a good idea of what I wanted, but it would be better if they had signs for each one explaining! I kinda just guessed and it worked out but there were only signs on some of the candies so I think it would be better if there were signs on everything.

I'm too old to be giving into peer pressure. but I had to find out what the hype was about, so I ordered a bunch of different gummies, sours, wrapped candy, and marshmallows, I think. but I tried some, and my highlights are the marshmallow mix, sweet green apples( I ate the entire bag already) having a sugar rush as I type, and the banana caramel bulbs I didn't like sour lemon lime. I dont like lemon lime flavor or sour candy, so I have no idea why I brought sours. I didn't think anything was too sweet unless you get too greedy like i did and eat too much at one time. but I'm happy with my purchase and happy I got my shipment sooner than I thought.

My favorite candy store. They have so many options to choose from all the different Swedish candies. Coming from a Swedish background I have tried some of these before and was so happy to find out this place existed. At about $16 per pound it can get expensive but it’s worth it imo. I hardly ever eat candy but this is the kind I want when I do. If you’re into the traditional licorice candies they have a nice variety of those as well. The staff were also very sweet.

I've now placed 2 orders with Sockerbit. The first order in mid-February, it took a while BUT they adhered to their, at the time, 14-day processing time and I received my order just before the end of the month. The candy was great and super fresh, I also received lots of variety throughout the few mixes I ordered.

Fast forward to 3/1 I placed another order, this time primarily for my mom's birthday gift. When I placed the order the processing time was stated as 2-3 weeks but I didn't need the candy until after that time frame so I proceeded with the order. I noticed shortly after through Instagram and their website that the processing time had been upped to just 3 weeks, but still I should be receiving my order sometime during this week of 3/24 and was fine with that. Then this week I notice on Instagram only that they stated they are only packaging orders from the mid to end of February at this time, by that message I estimated that they wouldn't even begin packaging mine until next week or the following week. So I reached out through Instagram DMs as from other reviews I learned they rarely respond to emails. I got a response pretty quickly after stating that I understood how busy they were but I would have never ordered nearly $100 worth of candy for a gift if they weren't adhering to their own processing times. Whomever responded to me was kind and said they would work on my order that day or at the very least the next day...and they were right! That night I got an email saying my order was processing and it was handed over to USPS shortly after.

Now while I appreciate that this exception was made for me, I strongly disagree with the practices Sockerbit is using at this time. Yes, the company went viral but the candy craze started over 2 months ago, and if business is booming so much that it is taking this long to ship orders out then there are certainly funds to hire additional staff to solely pack orders. Obviously even a 2 week+ processing time is not really standard these days, but I think people are fine with it if they are communicated with and the brand actually holds to the promise of a 2 or 3 week processing time which is currently not what's happening.

I received my order today but I likely will not order more through Sockerbit, just because it really is a hassle working with them. Other companies are still on a 2+ week processing time as well, but they are actually holding to that and respond to emails. My candy mixes this time had a poor variety and they are definitely starting to skimp on Bubs and skulls as I received 1 Bub between 2 "Sweet Mixes" and 3 skulls (all the same flavor) between 2 "Sour Mixes". The chocolate mix I ordered was worse, I wasn't expecting a ton of variety just based on the chocolate section of the website, but I got 1 chocolate marshmallow candy and 1 chocolate raspberry boat. The rest was just filled with plain milk chocolate...no caramels or...

Usually love coming to this place I drive from Victorville to LA to stock up on my absolute favorite candy addiction. I went yesterday August 18, 2024 around 12:00 pm bringing my sister along because I talk well of this place. As soon as we entered we started to look around to see what they had. To my surprise my absolute favorite candy’s were not on the self however, I see the girl in the back have huge packs of them making them into tiny packages of 6-7 pieces for 10 dollars. I asked if they were going to put some on the floor and they replied no they don’t have them in stock. Completely lying when customers can see huge packs in the back. I was not the only one numerous people came and asked as well and got the same answer. I found it completely unprofessional to lie while the product is clearly in front of them being sold for way more to possibly make more profit. To make things worse the cashier in the front around 12:10 was completely rude to everyone walking in. One lady asked about the chocolate section and asked the worker “Hi, is this chocolate very salty?” Asking her for her personal experience of this chocolate as the worker replies “It clearly says the chocolate has salt.” Another, customer a guy asks if he could have a couple pieces of the candy they were packing into small packs because he doesn’t want the other kind in the packs as the girl replies “No we aren’t putting them out we are only selling them in these packs” the tone that she used was not of what customer service is suppose to be like. The guy was completely embarrassed around us and I felt bad for him. To think people travel from all areas to try this place out and get let down. I know some candy’s are completely viral but they should really consider first come first serve. As well as not lying about having certain candy’s when people can clearly see it in front of them. At least close off the work area to customers so they can’t know if you are lying to them. My sister and I of course got other candy’s as well to try out. Overall, they have fresh and great candy options all the time. This place is truly great they should maybe get a worker that...
