Apparently, certain lower price items on the menu cannot be ordered unless the restaurant is empty as they will favor traditional Koreans who somehow understand their unspoken rule that it's required to buy high priced meats that cost hundred dollars or so, which would be fine IF that was clarified on the menu. When I asked why that wasn't written on the menu, they said it's just understood by most of their Korean patrons. So, non-Koreans aren't welcome? They said the owner doesn't care as they serve Koreans who get it. Don't put items on the menu you don't want to serve or specify dates/times those items can be ordered. Don't make non-Korean customers feel unwelcomed just because we do not order the most expensive items on the menu. If you and your party are not old school traditional Korean(s) who somehow understand these unspoken rules, I would avoid this place unless you're willing to spend a couple hundred dollars as most meat orders require 2 or more. Read moreWe would visit this place almost 6 times a week. The first owners where the best once. sadly after covid ownership changed but food stayed the same. This third owner will be the one that will kill this restaurant. We would go so much we got to know the crew, when we called we asked for a specific server we knew to make a reservation. That server was recently let go, right off the bat they started talking to us rude. I guess the problem was asking for him. After they told us he was let go we where about to make a reservation, they just hung up and never picked up the phone again.
Mind you this had been my spot for over 6 years. But now what made on ga nae, on ga nae, died with the first...

The flavors and grilling experience were top-notch. However, the service left something to be desired. With just two waiters handling multiple tables, it was clear they were stretched thin. They had to juggle taking orders and assisting with the BBQ, which resulted in occasional delays and challenges in getting their attention. To enhance the overall dining experience, it would greatly benefit the restaurant to have additional staff members to provide efficient and...
