I stopped here early one morning seeking breakfast 😋 and guess what I found? Yes a really good breakfast with some of best people who work here, with their dedicated work ethics along with great customer skills, I liked the cook 🍳 😀 what he made was the best scramble eggs in town or was it that I had not ate eggs or had breakfast for 2 months or so that made it delicious but after I went and brought some eggs 😋 they didn't taste like theirs. I guess you get really good when it's served all day. Thank you to all of you 😘 You gonna read some unflattering comments, but I found what I had to be perfectly good 👍 even the French toast. I couldn't complain about yeap I've seen that comment.

We were just visiting and stumbled on this great food market which was a great find. My friend wanted a traditional diner breakfast with eggs and he was very pleased. It was $17 so it wasn't free but basically he was very satisfied with what he got and it was exactly what he wanted. Sitting in the public market and eating on the tables was wonderful, with all of the smells from the different vendors and food types varying throughout the experience as the winds changed. We were very pleased.

Food street hawker. Alfresco sitting and open concept - buy your food, find a seat and eat. The Philly Cheese Steam Sandwich @ US$17.95 (Combo) was a good meal for me. The beef was well seasoned and prepared. Top with cheese between baguette. My personal favourite. Pastrami Sandwich @ $US$18.45 (Combo) was my daughter’s lunch. Smoked beef between whole meal bread. Prices are before taxes and gratuity. Be prepared to look for seats before ordering. Tend to get crowded during meal times.

it is a fantastic spot for classic deli fare served with heart and authenticity. Whether you’re craving a hearty sandwich, a juicy burger, or a delicious breakfast, Phil’s delivers on all fronts with generous portions and incredible flavor.

The menu offers a wide range of comfort food favorites, including pastrami sandwiches, burgers, omelettes, and deli classics like matzo ball soup. The sandwiches are stacked high with quality meats and fresh ingredients, and the burgers are always juicy and cooked to perfection. Everything is made to order, ensuring each dish is fresh and exactly to your liking.

The service at Phil’s is excellent—staff are friendly, quick, and always willing to customize orders to suit your preferences. The casual, diner-style atmosphere adds to the charm, making it a great place to grab a quick meal or relax with family and friends. The location within the iconic Farmers Market only adds to the experience, making it a great stop whether you’re exploring the market or just in the mood for a great meal.

For anyone looking for classic deli dishes with a warm, welcoming vibe, Phil’s Deli & Grill is a must-visit. Highly recommended for a satisfying, no-frills meal in...

Ordered the pastrami w fries for about $20. I'm always courteous by default, even came back at pickup w more cash to tip bc the change from the order was meager.

Customer AFTER me had the same but was eat-in order - looked good, healthy to generous portion pastrami on fresh soft rye. His order was served BEFORE mine.

I opened my to-go box to be disappointed. My order looked like a BLT bc the pastrami seemed single layered and was grey. It also wasn't requested but my rye bread was toasted/grilled.

We concluded the sandwich was probably older and they grilled it to mask the fact.

I'm Asian-American and this unfortunately was not an isolated treatment. For whatever reason, no matter if we're polite and courteous, some Hispanics will not treat us in kind. I have Hispanic friends who apologetically admitted as much for resentment I will not detail here.

I harbor nothing but goodwill in my heart and I won't name the person that served us but that was a very expensive "BLT" sandwich but worse of all, it left me feeling like this person saw me as "less than" and that I did not deserve to be treated as well as his average customer, no matter my own courtesy...

LAMEST SALAD EVER!!! I'm stuck at the office so a very nice co-worker offered to pick something up for me while he was dining at Phil's Diner. After reviewing the menu online I jumped on the Grilled Veggie Salad (though there was no description, that should have been my red flag). I had visions of zucchini and yellow squash and peppers - or any of the other gorgeous spring and summer vegetables that are in season - served atop a bed of lush mixed greens. Far from it! What I received is a bland mix of warm, but not grilled, celery (yep, CELERY), carrots and water chestnuts over green lettuce. This is a pathetic excuse for a Grilled Veggie Salad and hardly worth the 9 bucks it came to including tax. I was so looking forward to trying Phil's and now I'm fairly certain that I'll never venture down there for another try. Two big...
