I told my love the morning after date night that I wanted something good for breakfast. I wanted something filling with good atmosphere, music and drinks lol
We were driving around and I said I want a Mexican restaurant like that..he said I know the place.
We pull up to The Rodeo and at first thought cool its on a corner, there's outside sitting and parking! Already meeting my standard. Plus the outside is covered with lots of greenery. We park easily and walk in.
It's order first then sit. LOTS of options. I ended up get the shrimp in garlic plate. It came with rice and beans and a salad. My man got same sides with his steak and eggs. Everything was good...perfect. when I say perfecto..I mean that! So yummy!
We also had micheladas that was mouth watering and tasty. Started my day just right.
Prices were just right. Staff were kind. Welcoming. Helpful.
I don't speak Spanish and I wish I did more but I get nervous to speak around Spanish speaking people as I don't want to offend but staff were dope! Even taught me some things so hey!!
Overall great experience. I will definitely be back for the Shrimp a la Diabla! Clearly I like seafood

The food was great. I enjoyed every bite of the Huevos Rancheros with Steak. My family had a good time. My son really enjoyed watching the robot servers deliver the plates of foods to different tables. All in all, I would have given this restaurant a four or maybe five stars, but I’m giving them 1 star because we left the place with a bad taste of service. While eating we ordered a side of sour cream (it came in a tiny transparent plastic cup). It was barely enough sour cream to spread on a toast. Anyhow, the lady who brought it said it cost $1.65, and that’s fine. Nothing is free. However, as we ate she forgot to charge us and we also forgot to pay for it. Well, as we walked out, she chased us down the parking lot saying we owed $1.74. I mean, she was right, but it still felt weird. I was going to go rush in to pay, but my uncle also felt embarrassed that the server was sweating and anxiously asking us to pay the $1.74 for the swab of sour cream, that he said he would take care of it. We don’t leave in LA, we live in Spain, so this was a bit strange. And it was uncomfortable seeing the server stress...

2023 Review:
AVOID. Delayed Order Under Heatlamp. Lettuce avoidable, not healthy. Beans over fried, Rice a scary can barely tell overcooked/towards mush, sour cream(a)? Warm, Green Sauce Avoidable, and Chicken Pink, overcooked maybe twice. That Lettuce is a BIG Giveaway. Don't.
Curious, if you should keep it going for the alcohol only, but with the food quality that low, I just don't think it is an option. Don't get sick; my stomach still hurts.
Anyways, it is closed to me. Btw, the "Se Solicitar Personal" on the corner of the street with their logo on it, the A2 Sandwich Board, probably doesn't help. It probably is for advertising directed towards others for/from the Restaurant...but may or not being "street walkers. " haha.
