Packed on a Tuesday night - I should have known this was a great sign!
PARKING: Valet or street. Valet is $2.
FOOD: -We opted for the shabu shabu on this visit. You'll need to order 2 types of meat for the table, so we got pork and duck. Both were amazing, but the duck was my favorite of the two. The meats are served with a heaping plate of shredded greens that includes some konnyaku (great texture!). This was my first time having korean style shabu, and I was amazed that the quality of the ingredients truly showed through with such a simple preparation. The cherry on top was the udon then porridge preparation. Ahh the porridge was perfect for the rainy weather we had been having and seriously hit the spot. -Banchan: Loved it -great selection.
SERVICE: Korean aunties were very attentive and helped us load the pot with more meat as the meal progressed. You know it's a good sign when everyone else in the restaurant is korean.
Can't wait to bring ERRBODY....
Read moreCame for dinner on a Friday night with a friend. Valet is offered in the lot for $3; valet closed around 9:30 PM and they'll find you inside the restaurant to give you your keys back, along with collect the $3 fee. Service was ok, they speak broken English and they speak Korean. The food was good; we had the seafood pancake and 3 course Shabu Shabu with Beef. The seafood pancake was ok; we asked for the pancake to be extra crispy but it came out a little soggy and with a lot of veggies mixed in. For the 3 course meal, the first course is Shabu Shabu, second is Udon with the same broth, and third is porridge with the same broth and one egg. First course was good, second we skipped, and third was ok; porridge didn't have much flavor. Restaurant was relatively clean, as was the restroom. Price was ok too, not too expensive...

We walked in at 12 noon and it was all Korean speakers, which tells me that they’re authentic
Simple and functional decor, especially like the ceiling design.
The serve sucks on her teeth while taking our order. The bbq plate doesn’t fit well - so be careful, don’t put pressure on it.
The sides: the green salad is wonderful; kimchi is ok; the little chopped side is the best. It’s the first time seeing macaroni in a Korean restaurant.
The bill came before we finished our meal. The hook in the bathroom stall is too high for shorty like me...
