Prepare to be seduced by the simmering symphony of flavors at Shabuya, a hot pot haven that transcends the typical dining experience. Stepping inside is like entering a warm embrace, the expansive space effortlessly accommodating both intimate tête-à-têtes and boisterous gatherings. The air is thick with anticipation, a gentle hum of contented chatter mingling with the tantalizing aroma of simmering broths.
Let's talk about the heart of the matter: the broth. Shabuya doesn't just offer broth; they deliver an elixir of pure deliciousness. I opted for the Shabuya broth, and from the first spoonful, I was transported. It was a revelation, a depth of flavor that spoke of hours, perhaps days, of patient simmering. Each nuanced note unfolded on my palate, a testament to culinary artistry. This wasn't just soup; it was a soul-warming potion.
The buffet is a treasure trove of culinary delightful ingredients with a sauce bar to enhance your hot pot broth. In addition you have five selected meats of your choice, each promising tender succulence, and a vibrant array of fresh ingredients beckoned. The freedom to customize my hot pot was exhilarating. With five distinct broth options, the possibilities were endless.
The ambiance is effortlessly chic, a perfect backdrop for any occasion. The attentive staff, a well-coordinated team, ensured every need was met with a smile. And those individual table burners? A stroke of genius, maintaining the perfect temperature for our bubbling cauldron of goodness.
To complement our culinary adventure, we indulged in Sapporo Premium beer. Its smooth, non-bitter finish was the perfect counterpoint to the rich, savory broth. A truly refined brew.
Despite the alluring "all-you-can-eat" promise, I found myself gloriously defeated after just one round. The sheer abundance and quality of the ingredients were overwhelming in the best possible way. Shabuya isn't just a meal; it's an experience, a journey into the heart of flavor. If you're seeking a hot pot adventure that will leave you utterly satisfied, look no further. Shabuya is where culinary dreams come to life, one simmering, flavorful spoonful at a time.

"BAD FAITH HANDLING OF INJURY ACCIDENT IN RESTAURANT. NO ACCOUNTABILITY I.E. ACCEPTANCE OF LIABILITY NOR FAULT. LAWSUIT INBOUND
Disabled customer (victim) slipped and fell due to water dripping from ceiling onto floor that was not marked with caution sign and diagnosed with concussion + additional injuries at Huntington Beach hospital.
Instead of calling first responders to take customer to emergency room/urgent care where emergency medical care is provided regardless of payment situation such as proof of medical coverage, General Manager Reggie Guerrero convinced concussed customer to leave vehicle at location and Uber to their go-to clinic in Santa Ana for employees and clinic staff stated restaurant denied responsibility for coverage after customer arrived.
Due to confusion caused by concussion, customer called me for help. I picked customer up and transported to hospital, then drove back to Shabuya to get copy of accident report from Reggie where he ADMITTED "there may have been wrongdoing on their part."
Requested surveillance footage of accident and was denied. Company's accident form states footage was saved and must be sent to headquarters.
Almost 2 days later. No follow up from company to inquire about condition of victim despite me telling them day of there were injuries and she is at hospital, nor ANY contact...
Read moreCan't believe I ate a soaked to soft fly🪰 then got discriminated and bullied by the host guy on 8pm October 1st...
Host guy who wore black and be a little bigger than average said only when I ate for 20 min/ I didn't eat at all just wanna leave he would consider a refund which implied its not a good timing to find a fly/ I just wanna find an excuse to leave?
But "I already ate 50 min then saw fly then talk to him then it's 80min already that's a full meal."
Whether he got me refund or not talking nonsense was a bad idea. What's worse was when it came to refund/ half refund he dumped all the excuses and lies. But. Once I said "I ate less than hour how do you know I ate 60 min did you calculate?" he thought he caught me on English wording then excitedly came up with
"what do you mean by calculating i don't calculate the computer shows the time I don't think you know what I'm saying...
I said "calculating or counting whatever it is less than 1 hour before that fly.
he continued to argue for like 3 min "I don't think you understand. I don't need to calculate. It's a computer. It just shown here. calculating is I need to... do something..."
Aren't you getting too much used to those bullying and discriminating things?? Don't know how many times he received and learned bully from others. Sad for him
Anyway almost I finished seafood plate then found a dead fly plus 50min r not enough for any refund
(he added he didn't accept one person he was doing a favor to accept me came by myself. But when I called him he said one person is ok cause they were not busy by then and I actually been refused by them 2 years ago for coming by one person and wasted Uber fee
...Anyway all lies came naturally and his boss kept speaking intensely in Korean to him made him feel get backup so hes speaking...
