I love KFC! When I want chicken it is the bird from Kentucky I turn to. However the franchise here in Lubbock is HORRIBLE! And has been consistently horrible for years. My love for KFC in general keeps me going back in the vain hopes I will be able to actually get chicken from humans that have the gift of communication in a place that is so what clean. But… no. That is far too much to ask from this franchise. They have closed all other locations and in my opinion they should just shoot this one in the head also and make room for KFC to get an operation in here that knows how a restaurant works.
Every visit for the last 2 years has been a disappointment. For example, this morning I swing through the drive thru. I order a family meal of legs and wings. Ask for side but no drinks. I also ask for a family meal of tenders (i have a big family) they don’t have enough chicken in original recipe… ok give me some crispy or whatever.. not enough chicken at all (this is noon on a icy/snowy Sunday). Ok what do they have? A second voice comes on and says hold on… almost 5min later and a 3rd voice comes on and ask what drink I would like with that. No only have we not established what food I can actually order yet, I had already said I didn’t need drinks.
No food… lack of ability or execute even basic communication, the place was filthy and greasy (I went in to try and order in person) finally left without food because of the lack of cleanliness. @KentuckyFriedChicken PLEASE send us a new franchisee or operator so we can once again enjoy your...
Read moreVery disappointed! I went to pick up my order, that I did on the app. When I got there I an employee walked right passed me and sat down with another in the corner, he didn't even greet or at least say hi, I said hi. But, I guess I'm old school...anyway I go to the corner, I notice that nobody was at the counter, food wasn't in the pickup bin..I can hear two lady's laughing and talking somewhere in the back. By then at least 3 to 4 mins has passed by..not even the two young employees who were sitting down stayed sitting down, didn't even ask if I wanted help. Finally, I turned and looked at them and said uuhhg is anyone working..he said yes and pointed to the front. I said where and pointed to the front. He finally gets up yells a workers name out. It didn't work, so he went to the back to get her. Again no apologies from him. Finally, a employee comes out, again no apology and I Said I have a pickup order. She finds the receipt and comes back and kinda laughs/giggles and said we haven't even started it. My order was ready according to the app at 7.28pm, I got to that location at 7:45pm.... Then she tells me. I'm sorry we don't even have what is on your order. 64$ order out of everything, no apologies no nothing, worst customer service. No communication nothing. So, I went to the location on 50th and slide and they...
Read moreWould give negative stars if I could. My mom was stopping by to pick up dinner around 5:45. She pulls up to the speaker but due to her being hard of hearing she could not hear the person asking for her order. She noticed a sign beneath the speaker that said to look at the menu, then pull up and order at the window if you have trouble hearing. She did just as the sign directed. After pulling up she spoke with the employee at the window placing her order, asking the employee to repeat themselves several times as she could not hear well. One of the mangers walked up told her that she couldn’t do what the sign said because she was holding up the drive through. When my mom explained that she was hard of hearing, the manger began to gesture as if she was signing and say that the service was only for deaf people. Figuring the manager didn’t believe her, my mom began to sign while speaking to the manager in hopes of explaining more clearly that she truly was hard of hearing. The manger then said since my mother could speak the she couldn’t order at the window as the service was only for dead people who could not speak. My mom then ask how was she supposed to know when to speak if she could not hear. Afterward the manager made an angry gesture that could be clearly understood as a rude gesture. I will never...
