Seattle | All-You-Can-Eat Semi-DIY Italian Feast ❗ Unbeatable Value ‼️

Granted it's been maybe 10 or 15 years since I was last at olive garden (and a kid), but... me and my family had an unreasonably good time here with tons of food and laughs! SO many breadsticks eaten (warm out of the oven with that garlic salt, they're unbeatable dipping vessels) , and so much endless soup tried (every flavor was excellent, the chicken and dumplings was very good but heavier, the other soups being lighter and more palette cleansing!). I personally got the shrimp scampi which was so light and wonderful with still crispy asparagus and plenty of shrimp. All the Alfredo dishes were really great too, and the lasagna was stacked. Favorite dessert between tiramisu and cheesecake was definitely the cheesecake with a very crispy crust and raspberry sauce. Calamari appetizer was very hearty and meaty feeling with warm marinara and another creamy dipping sauce that was very addictive and great with breadsticks too! However, their alcoholic beverages were definitely too sweet for us though even when we asked for reduced sweetness. Nonetheless, a great experience to be had :)

Yesterday the whole family went to Olive Garden for dinner. I am not a fan of Olive Garden but my kids like it so was there for them. Ordered the usual unlimited soup, salad, and bread. Server was subpar due to lack of multitasking but attributed it to probably being new. My issue was with the manager. On my second soup, Zuppa Toscana, I took a second spoonful of soup and choked on an item. When I coughed it out it was a plastic piece. I called for the server and informed her what I found and how I chocked on it. She informed the manager. When he arrived he explained how soups are kept in bags soaked in hot water then when needed it is cut. Then he left. If the patron indicated he chocked on their mistake is it not normal to apologize then ask if the patron is ok? Even if the server failed to mention that the patron chocked on the plastic is it not normal for managers to ask if patron is ok due to foreign object in their food? Never got asked after the incident or after the visit when he revisited the table. I guess my money was more important to Olive Garden then my health.

This was the worst experience there for sure. Last time wasn't great either so this was our first time back in over a year but we wanted to try it again. Lol, we won't do that again... ever. 1st off we sat at the table for 5min+ before even being acknowledged. This was 8pm on a Sunday mind you, so not terrible busy. We did stop at Cheese Cake 1st tho and they has a 50 minute wait @ 8pm on a sunday night. But their ALWAYS busy. For a reason! And for the most part their servers and back of the house run like a machine! But When our server did show up he said sorry there was some mix up and I'll be your server. Can't tell ya how baked this kid was but he was pie eyed as ya could get or just plain not all there in the head. Ordered drinks and an appetizer. My daughter isn't really the pasta type, but mom and I were there for what once was one of our favorite dishes. We knew what we wanted so didn't really look at the menu. My daughter was going to order the steak, so we asked if we could substitute the fettuccine Alfredo side with a ceaser salad. I said I don't care if there is an up charge or whatever, she didn't want the pasta. So we talked to him about this for a good minute or 2. And he said ok. Our drinks came, then our app came. I asked 3 times for some side plates for this app. (Hot fried mozzarella)... finally we just all shared the plate it came on, cuz who wants to eat cheese Stix that aren't hot. He finally brings our soup, salad and bread Stix and we still have no side plates. I asked yet again for plates. At this point the app was gone but wanted some side plates for the bread Stix. Finally got those. When the food came out my daughter gets this small steak on a huge plate with nothing else on it lol. I asked where the ceaser salad was and he said we'll they wouldn't do it, we can't do that. I said "well not even for an up charge"? He says no. So I said "ok then charge me for a full ceaser salad I don't care"! He says we don't have ceaser salad... LOL..OMG, we had a 1 to 2 minute conversation before we ordered about subbing out the pasta for a Cesar salad LOL.. why for the love of God did you not say that when we were talking about it and you said we could... So at this point the dissapointment level is a good 7. He didn't bring a steak knife and told my daughter he'd be right back with one.. lol by the time she was 3/4 done eating it with a butter knife he comes back and says "oh here's that knife" LOL... by that point she was pretty well done. The dish my wife and I were really looking forward to was pretty terrible so at this point we just couldn't get outta there fast enough. The tab was $100 and it could have been much more. We were looking forward to some tiramisu and a couple of their take home specials for lunch the next day. As a business owner of a hospitality facility here in town I obviously don't skimp on tips. 20%-30% for sure.. unfortunately for this I could only give a 15% tip which was still way more than deserved for the service we got. The $100 was definitely NOT worth the quality of food we ate. Or tried to eat. People definitely have bad days but this kid clearly didn't give 2 craps about his service. From the messy hair (not fashion messy either) to his uniform that was half assed cared for. This kid was just coasting thru service knowing regardless of people's experiance he was gonna get a tip of some sort. I've been in the service industry for a very long time, served in some pretty great places. Olive garden isn't the fanciest of places but they are corporate and do expect a better level of service than what we even came close to getting. The gm and or manager needs to run him thru another server test on service, timings etc. Cuz this guy needs to be bussing or washing dishes. I'm sure one of those hard working bussers or dishers would love the opportunity to get out there, touch some tables, make some folks experiance great and walk outta there with a pocket full of tips! If ya made it thru my rant thanks for reading LOL! Needless to say that was our last time we'll...

Unfortunately, I did not have the best experience at this Olive Garden location. I had placed a large catering order on Wednesday, April 12th for pickup on Friday, April 14th at 11AM. I called again that Thursday to change the order because the office had preferences in the pasta they were getting. The person I spoke to was nice but struggled a little when he was changing the order. When I asked for the total, he gave me a number that was much higher than my original order. He then realized he forgot to take off the extra items I no longer wanted. When that was fixed, he assured me everything would be fine and I confirmed that I would be picking it up that Friday. I got there right at 11AM and was surprised to see other people also waiting for their catering order. One person in particular had complained that he had been waiting in his car for over 15 minutes. I too had been waiting for my order for around 10 minutes when someone finally came to the counter to ring me up. He said a name that was not mine and when I told him I placed an order earlier in the week he looked me up in their system and said the pickup date they had was for April 21st (the following weekend). As one could imagine, I was pretty upset. My lunch was starting in a few minutes so I already knew I would be late and I was being told they did not have any of the food that I had ordered ready. When I told the gentleman that I was not happy and that I had placed the order for that Friday he told me he didn’t know if there was anything he could do. That is not a great answer considering someone there dropped the ball and put in the wrong pickup date. I asked to speak to a manager and was greeted by Max. He said he was the kitchen manager and quickly apologized and said him and his team would do their best to make the food and get me quickly out the door. For the most part they did, and Max only charged me for the salads because he felt bad. However, when I got to the office the staff quickly pointed out that one of the pastas I had ordered did not come with sauce. I was essentially given a large pan of cooked spaghetti. That’s it. They also did not provide any breadsticks. So not only was I late for my lunch but I didn’t even have enough food to feed everyone. Thankfully the office was very kind about the situation. Some people had even brought their own lunch but man was that embarrassing. I of course immediately call the Olive Garden after my lunch and let Max know I was missing items including the sauce for one of the pans of spaghetti. He told me 15 minutes after I had left, he noticed the sauce sitting on one of the counters. He figured I was already late and wouldn’t be able to go back and pick it up. He also let me know their bread oven was not working which is why I did not receive any breadsticks. He comped the entire meal and sent me a gift card that I could use for any of the Olive Gardens. While I do appreciate him making amends I can’t say that I would place a catering order at this...

This visit started out with unfavorable events... My wife called and asked how long of a wait time it would be for a table for 2. She was told about 1.5 hours. I called (thinking she had called a different restaurant) and was told about 1 hour... I enquired about sitting at the bar top and what wait time would be there. I was told it was closed. I get us on the wait list and get to the restaurant. The place is packed, so I understand the wait time. I am, however, getting a bit upset as I notice that the bar area has patrons and open spots. I take the mindset that maybe the bar is closing and they are just finishing the service that was already started... not the case! While waiting, I watched another couple come in, sit at the bar, and give their order to the prompt server... back to getting annoyed... My frustrations rise as I watch their food show up, and my wife and I are still waiting. I checked the wait list app (cool feature) to see that we are at 19... WTH!!! We finally get seated (at a table that has been empty since our arrival). We are given our menus and utensil packs and left to our own vices... no mention of who or server is or offering of water. After 10 minutes of being completely ignored (the host even came out to ask the tables around us how their service was going and if they needed anything), the server showed up. We order our drinks and meals (missed out on the veteran special since it wasn't offered / explained to me). We get the salad and bread sticks to start (as normal) but realize that our utensil packs are the kids' packs... I am 50, and my wife is 48... I don't think we need crayons, and a knife would be useful at this point. We had also ordered the endless dipping sauces for these bread sticks, which hasn't been delivered to the table yet... approx 5-10 minutes later, our server comes back and asks how everything was going. We ask for the sauce, knives, and a refresh on the salad (with peppers since they were forgotten on the first one). Our server comes back with our sauce, knives, and the entrees. My side chicken fritta was like chewing on rubber, but the rest of our meal was fantastic. We are halfway through our entrées and it out bread sticks by the time the salad shows up. We ask for more bread... this order dosen't show up but gets offered to be put in our to-go leftovers. We also order a dessert (to-go since we are tired of the wait times in between each visit from our server). We had to request a bag for our leftovers and re-request the to-go dessert. We were never offered a receipt (to pay in restaurant) but instead kinda nonchalantly directed to the...
