We’ve been going here for years, but I don’t know if owners changed or just management, but we will never come here again. Not only has the quality of the food changed but the service has declined, too.
They had only one server, which honestly has always been the case, but everything was way slower than usual for the same amount of people dining. This wasn’t an issue at first until we got our food.
The banchan was not good at all. The veggies were mushy and the fish cake was rubbery. I always get the bibim naengmyeon. It came out still extremely warm (it’s a cold dish) and soggy, most likely from them trying to ice the hot noodles down.
I decided to take my food to go so that I could properly cool it instead of eating it warm. There was a lot going on when it came to us having to pack our food and check out and we accidentally left our food in the midst of everything.
As soon as I realized this on our way home, I called to make sure they still had it so that we could turn around and get it. We were gone not even 20 minutes when I called and they said they had thrown it away.
Mind you, I called before closing time. I understand we left it but we weren’t even given a chance to go back to retrieve it. I was pretty distraught as I had barely ate my food, and asked if there was anything that can be done.
I have never seen the man I was on the phone with before tonight, which is why I’m assuming it’s new management. Not only was he unsympathetic to the situation, he was also very rude. He said it’s thrown away now and I asked if there was anything we could do like replacement next visit as we’ve been eating there for years and eat there often. He replied with you shouldn’t have left it that’s your fault.
I understand it’s not their obligation to replace anything, but coming from being in the customer service industry for 16 years and having restaurant experience myself, it’s just bad taste. A $17 meal is not worth losing the respect of a customer in my eyes.
I literally had no words. I told him it makes me sad because we’ve been going there for years and that that is a crazy thing to say to customer. We all make mistakes, but choosing to belittle me just because I asked if there was anything we can do doesn’t make sense.
It’s funny to me though because as I was eating my food tonight, before this incident,I told my partner that the food and vibe didn’t feel the same and that I think they have a new cook or something and that we should make a different spot that we just recently discovered our new go to instead. This was definitely a...
Read moreAmazing restaurant, would give 10 stars if I could!
Forgot to take photos but the food was delicious, we ordered their special for 3 people and it was very large servings for 3 people. The 2 person special is definitely enough for 3 people with average appetites.
The steamed egg was great with their rice, the fish was soft inside and amazingly crispy on the outside, the beef bulgogi was delicious, tofu soup was great with beef, and all the side dishes were wonderful too. Service was very friendly too, and when we finished our jug of water we were provided with a second one quickly. Since the sun was setting and in our face a little bit a staff there even rolled down the blinds without us asking.
Absolutely worth the price, especially with all the amazing side dishes included for free with any entrées. I see some other reviews complain about the price which I feel is completely unfair. Other Korean restaurants side dishes aren't as great as these. I greatly enjoyed or was happy with all of the side dishes, some other places gave me only potato salad, kimchi, pickled radish and RAW broccoli as side dishes. All of the side dishes they have here are amazing. Will be back anytime I'm in...
Read moreThis is my second attempt to dine at this restaurant. Many flies inside of the restaurant (toward to their restroom) welcomed me. I am unsure about this restaurant. Their service was slow and only one server was helping customers (I went there during lunch time on a weekday). There is a call button on the table and the server did not come in spite of multiple calls until I lost my appetite (needed water refill and side dishes). It was not the server's fault as she was trying to accommodate many customers' request, but it was beyond her capacity. I ordered two dishes and both of them were less tasty. Combination of less attentive (but the server was friendly), too many flies inside of the restaurant, and lack of taste dishes, I don't think I would come back here.
Here are information: Parking: This restaurant is located in a small mall area and plenty of parking (free of charge) Restroom: Clean but no diaper changing station Food: what I ordered, they are below average Service: friendly but less attentive Price: Above average comparing other Korean restaurants in 15 minutes range by car No lunch...
