One of my favorite izakaya places to get Japanese food in the Lynnwood area. They deserve a wide range of Japanese foods that will hit whatever craving you might have and even have some menu items that you just can’t find anywhere else (such as the creamy mentaiko udon) all at very reasonable prices. Food I came here with my sister and mom on a Thursday evening after work and everything just hit the spot. We got a wide variety of food from sushi to ramen to grilled squid. The sashimi combo B was pretty good. The fish was fresh and there was decent portions of each piece of sashimi. I got the kimchi cheese tonkotsu ramen. The tonkotsu broth was my favorite part of this dish. The cheese sounded good when I was ordering but didn’t live up to my expectations which was fine. My sister really liked the muto spicy negi and she loved how there was so much green onion on top of it! Tons of veggies! The grilled who squid really impressed me when it came out and it also tasted good! Make sure to dip it in the sauce! We got the Tan tan men to go for my dad and he liked it overall. Good amount of meat and the broth was good. Of course, I’m sure it would’ve been better fresh from the kitchen at the restaurant since it’s a noodles dish though. Atmosphere Casual vibes since it’s an izakaya, a place to get food and drinks after a long day. Restaurant was a little bit on the darker side. Noise level was actually pretty low which was nice. Pricing Prices are average for most of the food and gives good value for the wide variety of food you can get and the quality. Definitely worth for any kind of Japanese food craving you might have. Service Service was just okay. Server didn’t stop by too often and we had to wave them down a couple times. The staff was nice. Other There’s a parking lot right in front and plenty of spots.

They offer lunch combo at around $15 with choice of Tempura or Teriyaki chicken with 1 salmon, 1 tuna sushi, 1 shrimp sushi, 3 small roll sushi, small portions of salad, 1 small pcs of deep fried chicken meat, and served with rice all in one bento tray. And a small bowl of miso soup too. I've the tempura set. It contains 3 shrimp, 3 pcs of deep fried vegetables. I like the sweet potatoes but not the cucumber. The shrimp covered with a very thick breadcrumb and oily taste & smell so does not taste good. For the sushi, when I put into my mouth I found a strange feeling not like normal sushi I ate in other restaurants, a little warm feeling that I don't like. I feel like the sushi being squeeze in someone's hand for a while. My husband ordered the chicken but he didn't like it too. He told me he didn't like the taste of the chicken and are too dry. Overall, we both found the tempura too oily and the breadcrumb too thick. But some people might like it so this is only my personal opinion. Despite of its quality, the lunch bento display really nice and attractive that you would want to eat it right away, that's why I totally forgot to take pictures. The restaurant is not large but still comfortable because each table are not too close to each other or because the time we were there only have 3 tablets with customers including us. But I feel the restaurant inside is too dark. And the restaurant will close at 2:30 pm and reopen around 5:00, so if you have lunch with friends and can only stay till before 2:30 pm. For the price, I would feel ok once awhile if it tasted good but for a $15 lunch, I could easily find all-you-can-eat with less than $12.

We love this restaurant and frequent here often. The food is great. However, yesterday when we arrived around 6:30pm, we wrote our name on the clipboard which we’ve always done. There were a few other guests who did as well. A younger female employee came over and grabbed the clipboard and was irritated with all of us because she claimed they don’t use that. One of the other employees helped her call out names and call people on the list, most of which left… probably because of her lack of awareness and customer service. So there were only 2 other guests, parties of 2… and one single person. My family had 6 people in our party. There were 6 tables available. Due to this employees poor awareness and irritability with the clipboard. She sat everyone else to the where my party of 6 couldn’t be seated. Instead of telling me how long she just said we can’t seat you tonight. I was appalled and her lack of awareness and poor planning. She was completely rude and honestly unaware of how to do her job. We’ve never had this type of horrific experience before here and it makes us incredibly sad because it was one of our favorite restaurants. All the employees have always been great except her. We were left with no choice but to leave. Their process with the clipboard clearly doesn’t work and they need to have a better system or have a better employee...
