Came here for my birthday we were a group of 10 people. We were seated outside but unfortunately the table was in an area were half of us had shade and the rest didn’t. Within 5 minutes of being there I requested nicely if we could move to a different table were there was more shade since we honestly had been out in the sun with 2 toddlers that wanted to just eat and were tired. The waitress told the manager in front of me that I was “upset” I said no I’m not upset I only requested to move to a different table. The manager never acknowledged me nor spoke to me directly only to the waitress it was kinda weird to be honest so we did ended moving to different tables which it’s totally fine with us. We were never upset at all. So a group of maybe 8 people come after us we still don’t get drinks served but this group that just arrived received their drinks instantly. We were just looking around and we’re talking about how other people are getting good services while we are still waiting. We were getting ready to leave when drinks arrived so we stayed and decided to order. I’m Latin American and I can say that the food does lack flavor, I did felt like the beans were just pour out from a can and heated up. The rice probably pre- made as well. I understand the prices will be higher but I was expecting some delicious authentic Mexican food. (Which we didn’t received) After this experience we will not be coming back because the service was not good nor the food. The only good thing was the drinks soda, water and one pina colada except the lemonade. Presentation of plates served it’s good. This is my honest and true review from our personal experience. We did order chicken fajitas, tacos, burrito, tamales, nachos etc. (Check out receipt provided) and we all didn’t like any of the foods. Each is welcome to try them out and have their own personal experience and...

food: pricing is about 2.5 times as much as the local economy. I get that. everything has to "Shipped over" i ordered a chicken Quesadi $22. NO Cheese, generic microwave instant Mexican rice just under cooked, and a somewhat ok over processed Spanish Chicken, on budget flour tortilla
Service: I call server Ken, he is just missing his Barbie. The service started out great. Greated bright cheerful smiles and ice water for the table. We where given sufficient time to scan the menu and order. during this time we over heard our waiter say "I don't take drink orders" and was he right. once he had our food order he was off like a flash. Our fiend had to gain his attention to order a Coke, then totally ignoring my wife as she tried to do the same. Here is a tip Ken. Don't ignore your customers who you area which you are serving to chat up and flirt with the with Barvie at the bar. Sound travels and we where only 5 feet way. As Ken was making plans with Barbie, he never came back to the table to check on drinks, he did make the cursery stop for "is everything Ok?" Next time he interacted with us was to settle the bill. But the show was good. Ken was parading like a peacock with his sunglasses on, Barbie was being polite and dropping hints a kindergartener could pick up. Felt bad for her.
Atmosphere: The island is really tring to squeeze and much area to make a buck as possible. we sat in the Bare are at the front. we should have take then patio. There was so thought put into this location. The bar area looks like a 2 hour project, on how can we keep the weather off people and make a buck. I can not speak to the patio. I get that they have to close up shop at the end of the season but do better. This is not the standard of the Island. you need to...
Read moreShowed up for late lunch at 200pm, Wed end of July 31- 24'..to start had to wait about 15 min for a hostess. 2 servers and 2 bartenders didn't even acknowledge or let anyone know we were waiting even after making eye contact.
We we're finally took to our seats..our hostess let us know our server would be with us shortly. After about 10 min. Our server showed up and took our drink orders after a little meet and great.
We ordered: Loaded nachos 22.00 Chicken queso taco 22.00 Spicy avacodo (7) bites 16.00(not worth it at all) 2 Cubanas 40.00
The Nachos was the best thing on the table just lacked the Mexican flavor used to having.. But Everyone at the table had to take a bite! The Tacos were ok per kiddo needed rice/beans on the side and more flavor. The Avacodo bites.. per kiddo was not spicy, no flavor and she believes they dropped half the order when bringing to our table.. Maybe presentation could have been better smaller plate, in a bowl with sauce in te center.. 16.00 was crazy for 7 half the size of a golf ball size bite.( we know now) Cubans looked good but again zero flavor.. should have been served with a side maybe a handful of house chips?
Service was ok. She forgot about us we ran out of water twice and was going for another drink but we were finished for about 20 before she showed up again. Took another 20 for our check..
Location was nice.. Food wasn't nothing to brag about..Zero flavor. Service wasn't were is should be. It was nice because we took in lunch with family and friends
Would I come back?? I would definitely try more in the area.. *Food needs more flavors for cubans,Mexican flare food.. *service needs to do better..if it slacks when it s slow I don't even want to...
