I learned a very valuable lesson while dining at this fine establishment. I went to one of the employees of this restaurant asking if I should get the butter noodles to which he responded “ if you have a crying baby then yes“. I got a good laugh out of this response. I asked him what the theme of the restaurant was seen as there were swords tools helmets and the overall Italian pizzeria theme mixed in with the building of the Mackinac bridge. He said that the theme is whatever you find in it. and told me that the second book that he had to write was to be a memoir of this establishment. I was content with his answer and walked upstairs to the amazing museum where I gazed upon real tools used in the building of the Mackinac bridge as well as a private movie theater with comfy couches to where you can watch the bridge being constructed. I went back down and we went to go find our drinks and a nice man handed us our drinks and our breadsticks and as we are filling up our drinks a man with a Russian accent suddenly appears from behind the drink stand with my food I am astonished that he knew that this food was mine and was able to locate me from behind the drink stand. I took my food back to my table and before I sat down the employee I was talking to earlier came up to me and finally shared what his second book was to be written about he said it was finding how to stop overlooking bewildering rock patterns and Indian carvings. but not just in rocks but in every day life he said we must learn to not overlook the little things just as so many walk past the rocks on the beach that he himself would stop and look at. he told us that he was the owner of this fine establishment and that many of the intakes here we’re on by his grandmother who he showed me a picture of on the wall. if you want to eat amazing food and have an amazing experience with much to see this...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of doing take out at Mamma Mia’s Pizza in Mackinaw City, Michigan, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere.
The staff at Mamma Mia’s Pizza went above and beyond to make sure my dining experience was perfect. They were incredibly attentive, making sure I had everything I needed and answering all my questions about the menu. Their recommendations were spot on, and I could tell they genuinely cared about my satisfaction.
The pizza itself was nothing short of phenomenal. The crust was perfectly crispy, the sauce was rich and flavorful, and the toppings were fresh and plentiful. Each bite was a delightful burst of flavors that made it clear why Mamma Mia’s Pizza is a local favorite.
But what truly set this place apart was the exceptional service. One staff member, in particular, stood out for her helpfulness. He made sure my order was exactly as I wanted it and checked in multiple times to see if I needed anything else. It’s rare to find such dedicated and friendly service, and it made my visit all the more enjoyable.
Overall, Mamma Mia’s Pizza is a gem in Mackinaw City. The combination of delicious food and outstanding service makes it a must-visit for anyone in the area. I can’t wait to return and enjoy another perfect pizza experience!
I hope this review captures the essence of your experience at Mamma...

The store has lots of mech displays and has a museum upstairs. They also have a mini arcade area to play at the back.
Diner style where you order, wait for your number to be called and pick it up. Order and pay for the alcoholic drinks separately in the bar at the side.
Unfortunately after waiting more than 20mins, the hawaiian pizza we ordered was so so. Not worth the wait. But you wont notice the waiting time if you go around. Maybe try other pizzas and food. Reg pizza at 22.99, med at 23.99, and large at 25.99$.
They have a mini arcade section at the back(near museum entrance stairs) where you can play using quarters. There's a money changer that accepts small bills to change to quarter coins. It also accepts card with min at 10$ by default.
Range of classic games. Price vary per game from 50c-1$ . What made me happy was finding a star wars mandalorian themed pinball. It even has a mini grogu displayed inside. This one seems like the fairly newer game and a gem to find for star wars geeks.
So the stairs lead to the second floor museum. It has some dining tables if you want to eat upstairs too. It also has a few arcade games to play as well. Walls are surrounded by displays. There's a mini room that displays the helmets and tools of the workers. There's a section that shows the history of the bridge on tv with seats...
