Best ice cream shop ever! We visit mammoth at least once every year, and this place is definitely on our regular itinerary now! Tried the Speculoos shake and it was divine! Tasted like cookies and you can definitely tell they use ice cream from a local creamery 🫶🏻 the ice cream "barista" was super nice, and she even gave us information about how their ice cream is made and how it's different from the other nearby ice cream shops! Wonderful flavors, generous tasting, and a good value for the price. Local Scoop was our stop when looking for dessert after a disappointing dinner, and completely turned our evening around! The variety and uniqueness of the flavors was great (the lemon poppyseed and the black raspberry chocolate were amazing.

The staff were friendly and cool under fire even when there was a decent size line going on.

I was disappointed by the ice cream, especially with the cost! The flavors were cool and creative. However $11 for a very underwhelming milkshake and about $10 for a double scoop makes it a place I’d be hard pressed to return to. The main disappointment of the ice cream is that it had ice chips in it. It wasn’t completely smooth and creamy. Also, no water provided in the shop and scant seating available make this shop even...
