The worst Brazilian steakhouse experience ever and the most expensive. The meats were not worth the price they only bring by pork and chicken. I had to request for red meat. I should’ve known that the service was gonna suck when they were already trying to bring us meat when the waiter hadn’t even explained the experience and I hadn’t even received my glass of wine yet , Who wants to eat before they get their drink? They also asked us if there was anything else we wanted before the check and they hadn’t even brought us all the meats yet it doesn’t matter whether your do not disturb peace is green or red. They will rush you regardless you spend more time communicating to the staff no thank you than actually putting food in your mouth. The salad bar is completely disgusting, which was surprising because I know most Brazilian steakhouses want their salad bar to be somewhat fulfilling…. I should’ve known the experience was not going to be an authentic Brazilian experience when they dropped off A1 sauce with the meats 🤣
And the cherry on top of the tree was when the waitress brought the check when we didn’t ask for it, and we didn’t say that we were done and didn’t even offer us boxes to the people In our group who ordered ala cart…. I’m sorry if you’re gonna put a screen in front of my face asking me for A minimum tip of 18% you better make sure You’re giving great service even Denny’s drops off boxes before the check….. come on people. And then she didn’t even bring the boxes Or bring us any of the receipts that we asked forafter we tipped her 20% like wtf!???? We sat there and waited for 20 minutes I had to go grab the manager to scroll through all of our checks, and our friend was overcharged an entire Brazilian experience that he didn’t even order…. I’m never coming back here. We always stick to the same places in Mammoth and wanting to give this place. A try was the worst...
Read moreDo Not Waste Your Time or Money! The location is the old Chart House building. There is NO ambiance with the cheap rental style tables and chairs. The place is more than half dark, so cold the greeter was wearing a down jacket and knit hat and not the level of clean you want in a restaurant. This is NOT a Brazilian Steak House .... Instead they serve 3 types of POOR QUALITY and POORLY COOKED beef. If well-done and cold at the same time is your preference this is the place. No additional hot meats or poultry. The say "salad bar" yet the reality is 5 or so canned vegetables mixed with cream or sour cream. The sides (only 2) which should have been served hot were old, flavorless and cold. The bottom of the pan was visible, burned, and food stuck. Rock hard Brazilian rolls cold, flavorless and lifeless. The staff is poor, the cocktails came mid-meal when there were only 5 tables filled. Calling this a Brazilian Steakhouse is like trying to compare dirt to gold! I commented to the server and noted on the payment device when asked. Nobody cares .... They may as well just take you money at the door and send you away... At least then you could go to a drive through...
The 2 first reviews on Google seem to be the same names as 2 of the employees there last night ... Very sneaky ......
Read more5 stars in my opinion. You have to go here if you are in Mammoth. It's a bit pricey ($60 at the time of my visit), but the unlimited meat option is the best hands down. Everything is cooked PERFECTLY. I mean, it tastes and feels like someone just made it seconds ago, because it was! They don't skimp on you either. They have waiters cycling through the grill all night long. Even if it's crowded, you'll get plenty of meat. We even kept forgetting to flip our little colored cork to let the server know we were ready for another round of meat, but he would stop anyway and check with us. This place is so worth it.
The salad bar is nice too if you want a side that isn't meat, or you have dietary restrictions. I ordered the unlimited meat, but I definitely made multiple trips to the salad bar for their tomato/mozzarella slices and their farofa dip (fried casava flour).
As for atmosphere, the restaurant is well taken care of. Very clean, organized, and pretty. There weren't really any booths where we were seated. It's pretty much open seating at individual tables from what I recall.
This was really good dining and service and I can't wait to come again. You really have to go here, it's worth every single penny. Come hungry! I really hope this...
