We arrived around 545 in the afternoon. There were a few tables ,not busy but looked heavily staffed. Our server molly was nice and put in our appetizer order quick and we received it super fast. We then placed our order which was the monthly special pizza and another classic pizza. We were waiting about 40 MINUTES and were informed our other food was ready but the monthly special pizza we had ordered was unavailable. Very disappointed since its the reason we came in the first place. They brought out the other food out and it had clearly been sitting in the window waiting to be brought out for a while. They put in an order for a different pizza since the first choice was unavailable(86'd). Well the pizza came out super fast and SUPER RAW. The top looked cooked and so did the bottom of the pizza but in the whole middle was RAW uncooked dough that could be turned into a new pizza. So we let our server know that the pizza came out raw and that we did not wish to keep it. No manager came to chat with us and we waited 25 MINUTES to get the bill. We left the building at 7 pm. I would have like to talked to a manager since its a clear health code violation to send out under cooked food. But sadly no manager ever showed up to resolve the late cold food and raw pizza. Overall we will not be returning to this establishment. This was our first time at "new" Broadway Pizza in Maple Grove. The other Broadway Pizza in Maple Grove location on elm creek Blvd had previously closed. If they continue with bad management and serving cold and under cooked food then they too will have the same fate of having to...
Read moreTo start this review off on the right foot I tried giving Broadway Pizza multiple chances as this place was given high praise from my dad AND uncle (It’s also 5 blocks from the house)
I’ve been here 3 times over 3 months, and it’s safe to say the night service is TRASH. We come here at 9:05PM every time to enjoy that wonderful happy hour they proudly display online/in-store.
Usually we get promptly seated in the same booth we always get sat at by some nice bus boy but this is where it always goes downhill. We wait 20+ minutes EVERY TIME before someone even breathes on our side of the bar. Not a single female server/hostess has EVER greeted us. The only person who’s served us is the white older guy who’s usually the only bartender for the night. He’s nice and all, but that’s about the only good thing here. (I won’t go into detail how staff looks like they’re moving fast but actually doing a lot of nothing cause they’re terrible workers)
After waiting 20 minutes to get greeted, 10 minutes for drinks, however long for good not great food it’s just not worth here. This last visit we sat at the table for ANOTHER 20 minutes before eventually… nothing happened again, and we were over it. We got up and left. It’s been our best experience we’ve had thus far.
If you like getting belligerently drunk at the bar and yelling 12 inches away from the only 3 people in the bar, then this is the place for you. If you like good food, quick service, and low cost experiences? I’d try Dominos. This place might’ve been good months ago but it’s NOT anymore. We’ll try again in...
Read moreExtremely disappointed in our experience this evening. I decided to take my two kids to dinner. We had been here recently and really enjoyed the food. This time we did not even get the chance.
Upon arriving, we were sat and quickly greeted by our server. So far so good. I ordered food for the kids and an order of wings to share. We waited well over an hour with no food ever making it to the table. Our server stopped by on occasion and progressively became more frustrated and confused by what was taking so long for the food.
After we hit 60 minutes, a manager came by and apologized profusely. He said the food was coming right up. I could no longer wait, my kids were getting hungry and restless. So I asked him to just box it up and we’d take it to go. They did state the meal would be comped. I then waited another ten minutes with nothing.
We got up to leave, and I asked to speak to the manager one more time, to see if any food was ready. He was apologetic again, said about half of the order was done, so I asked him to please just grab whatever is ready. I had hungry kids and didn’t want to walk away empty handed! He disappeared, and the hostess returned a few minutes later with a single box. My son’s kids meal. Which was Kraft Mac and cheese and ice cold, dry grilled chicken. I understand working out kinks as a new restaurant. But to just make up excuses and walk out with that measly order. Nail in the...
