Tikehau Lounge in Wailea, Maui, is a true gem that delivers a dining experience unlike any other. From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted with warm aloha and the infectious charm of the proprietors, Jessica and Jeff. Jessica, in particular, was absolutely lovely—her impeccable taste is evident in every corner of the venue, from the sophisticated decor to the thoughtful ambiance that perfectly balances elegance and island vibes.

The highlight of the evening for us was the off-menu seafood tower, an indulgent and beautifully presented creation that showcased the freshest flavors of the ocean. It’s clear that a lot of care and artistry went into crafting such an extraordinary offering. Pair it with their premium caviar options for a truly unforgettable experience.

Be sure to try the poke, which is nothing short of legendary. Tikehau Lounge’s poke is famous for good reason—its vibrant flavors and melt-in-your-mouth freshness make it easily among the best in Maui. It’s a must-have that truly captures the essence of island cuisine.

The creative cocktail menu also deserves special mention, especially their holiday-themed drinks, which were as festive as they were delicious. Each sip was a celebration of bold, inventive flavors, and the bartenders brought them to life with such flair and creativity. Whether you’re in the mood for a seasonal twist or a classic cocktail with a Tikehau spin, you won’t be disappointed.

Jessica and Jeff’s hospitality made the evening feel extra special. Their passion for creating a memorable dining experience shines through in every detail. If you’re visiting Maui, Tikehau Lounge is an absolute must. From the exquisite food and drinks to the welcoming atmosphere, it’s the perfect place for a night you’ll...

Tikehau Lounge in Maui is nothing short of a hidden gem! From the moment you walk in, you’re enveloped by an inviting atmosphere that strikes the perfect balance between laid-back island charm and sleek sophistication. The vibe is casual yet refined, making it an ideal spot for both intimate gatherings and lively nights out.

Let’s talk about the drinks — they are incredible. The cocktail menu is a masterclass in creativity, offering unique concoctions that blend local flavors with expert craftsmanship. Whether you're sipping on a refreshing tiki-style drink or trying one of their innovative creations, each cocktail is a work of art, bursting with bold, fresh ingredients that reflect the island’s essence.

And the poke? Simply outstanding. Tikehau Lounge serves some of the best poke you’ll find in Maui — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. It’s clear that they use the highest quality fish, and every bite is a delightful reminder of why Hawaii is synonymous with incredible seafood.

What really sets Tikehau Lounge apart, though, is the service. The staff are incredibly attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. They make you feel like a regular from the moment you walk in, offering great recommendations and ensuring that your experience is nothing short of fantastic.

If you’re looking for a place with amazing drinks, mouthwatering poke, and exceptional service, Tikehau Lounge is the place to be. It’s the kind of spot that makes you want to return again and again. A must-visit for...

A True Pacific Island Gem!! This restaurant is nothing short of a hidden island treasure. From the moment we stepped inside, we were immersed in an atmosphere that was both elegant and effortlessly cool—a perfect balance of upscale and relaxed. The decor is stunning and full of character, with thoughtful, artistic details everywhere you look. It truly feels like you’ve been transported somewhere special.

We came for their Omakase night, and every course was an absolute masterpiece—mind-blowing in flavor, presentation, and creativity. Each dish was so well thought out, with island-inspired ingredients and a depth of flavor that made the whole evening feel like a culinary adventure.

The cocktails (and mocktails!) are in a league of their own. I had the “Surf’s Up” mocktail, and it honestly made me forget I wasn’t drinking alcohol—so refreshing and layered. My husband had the “1944 Mai Tai,” and it was hands-down one of the best he’s ever had (and he’s tried quite a few!).

The staff was incredible—warm, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what they do. Their attentiveness added so much to the experience without ever feeling intrusive.

All in all, we had such a fun, intimate night here. If you’re looking for island-inspired fine dining with incredible vibes and world-class drinks, this place is a must-visit. We’re already planning our...

Edit/Update: Went for valentine's day 2025. Set menu wqs INCREDIBLE. The seared ahi over purple sweet potato was one of the best Ahi dishes ee have ever had, gave Mamas Fish house a run for their money. Drinks were again amazing but the star was the Pearl Diver. Worth every penny. Also great (and more affordable) was the Little Crush, super refreshing and light. Slammed for the holiday but Mari was amazing and thr whole staff was clearly jobbing it while finding time to take couples pictures and such. Definitely go it on Maui! Original: Nouveau Tiki at its best! Bright open atmosphere is welcoming and fun while maintaining all the best parts of a great Tiki bar. But the real litmus test is the cocktails and they do not disappoint! Easy judge is the Mai Tai and it was en pointe. Well done! Highly recommend trying the cold brew and kokoleka "martini" ( its all rum don't worry) and asking for the special menu and getting the banana one (banana stand!)... They were phenomenal. Even the bar showed attention to quality and local spirits with Kohana, Pau, Ocean, and Hanalei all right up front with big names like Plantation. Staff was awesome, super friendly and attentive. can't wait to go back.

Tikehau Lounge was hands down the best food and drink experience of our entire honeymoon in Maui. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere struck a perfect balance between relaxed island charm and the kind of refined, detail-driven service you’d find at LA’s Thunderbolt or NYC’s Dead Rabbit. The bar staff were not only incredibly friendly and welcoming, but also impressively knowledgeable and attentive. As someone with a severe peanut and tree nut allergy, I deeply appreciated how seriously they took my dietary needs—handling everything with care and consideration. One of the co-owners, Jeff, was on the floor himself, running drinks and checking in with guests to ensure everyone was having an exceptional experience. His passion for hospitality is palpable, and it shows in everything from the menu to the overall vibe. You can tell this place is a labor of love. Honestly, my only regret is that we only made it to Tikehau Lounge twice. If you're disappointed about not getting into Mama's Fish House, don’t be—this spot is a hidden gem that deserves just as much recognition.
