Gucci — Local services in Maui

I whish I could gave it zero stars. The experience at the store was good but little did I know that I am entering a month and a half long nightmare. I bought two pairs of shoes in a Maui store, paid with a credit card, and asked for one pair that was not available at the store to be shipped to my office, knowing I would be on vacation. The rep Christine sent them to my house. While on a trip, I called FedEx three times, asking them to hold my package. When I came to the FedEx local station on 04.20, the package was shipped back the day before. Since then, I chatted with customer service online (they promised the store rep would call me next day- she never did), called a few weeks ago (the rep said she would call me the next day with a tracking number for the check they sent me but never did), called on 05.30 and talked to Eddy who said the department that deals with checks would email me within 48 hours (they never did). By the way, they insist they can only reimburse me with a check/ not return money to my credit card. It feels like we are in 1950. To say I am angry doesn't even begin to describe how I feel. I have never experienced such a horrendous service. Gucci has been holding my $1300 for over a month with no light at the end of the tunnel. I regret ever setting my foot in your store. Aside from Nicholas, who was excellent, this store has one of the worse staff I've ever encountered.

We were greeted by Nicholas, who took our temperature, asked what our needs were, showed and explained all of the products we looked at. Very kind person.

The other four--FOUR!!--were on their phone or chatting with each other the whole time. Only one of these four bothered to greet either one of us or tried to help us the 20 minutes we were there. While Nicholas was helping my partner, I walked around looking for a belt and pair of shoes. I was so annoyed by the lack of service that I decided I'd take my business elsewhere.

Another customer came in during this time and the only person who helped her was also Nicholas. This review may sound like I'm related to him but I'm not. He seriously was the only one who seemed to be working. Thank you Nicholas. Gucci is lucky to have you.

As for the others, mannequins could replace them and I would not have known...

Is there a higher end brand name out there than the one and only GUCCI? Maui has its own Gucci store at the shops of Wailea! Has there been a more referenced name brand in famous rap (hip hop) verses than Gucci? Doesn't just looking at their logo with that interlocked "G" just move you passionately? Whose style and fashion products would ever beat Gucci if your intention was to go out there and meet other hot models out at the high end nightclubs than the logo of Gucci's? I know it's all subjective and relative in the design world, but I have to share - because that's how it makes me feel to see Gucci and hear its name even pronounced. That cool, sly, laid back way the rapper hip hop guys brag about wearing and buying it; can't say I haven't been caught up in the trend of it all and spent a pretty penny at this great most top end high luxury...
