Overall: This place was pretty good. There are a couple of things I would change. The drinks are very inconsistent. One drink was not strong and another was too strong. The meals itself were mostly good. Service was impeccable.
Appetizer: Hawaiian Ahi Poke was pretty good. It melts in your mouth with every bite. They prep the appetizer in front of you. Probably one of the best food on the menu. You can't go wrong with this dish.
Shrimp and Pork Chow Fun Noodles was average. I didn't see anything special about this appetizer. It tasted like any other Chow fun noodles. This dish can be passed.
Tako A L'Escargot was probably the best octopus dish I have ever ate. I don't like octopus, which says a lot. It has a hint of that seafood taste. Make sure you put everything on as everything compliments each other.
House-made Cavatelli Pasta was very delicious. It was underhype. I would recommend this appetizer to anybody. I thought it was probably the best out of all the appetizer I had tried. The only gripe is that it is a lot smaller than the other appetizer.
Kalua pig quesadilla was one of the best appetizer. It was so flavorful. I would recommend it if you had only one choice. It comes with four pieces.
Macadamia Nut-crusted line-cut Mahi Mahi was okay. The outer macadamia nut was very good. The fish itself was a little fishy.
Harissa-spiced wild shrimp & scallop was good. I'm not a seafood person, but I can say it was pretty tasty. Lots of different flavors when eating this appetizer.
USDA Prime Filet if Beef is o e of the best filet I have ate. Everything about this dish just scream delicious. The meat was cooked to perfection.
Lilikoi Pot de creme was a refreshing dessert. I would definitely recommend this dessert.
Pineapple Macadamia Nut Bread Pudding was my favorite. It was sweet and flavorful.
Waialua Chocolate Lava Cake wasn't that great. It was a little dry for a lava cake. If you like cocoa, you will like this.
Macadamia Nut Tart was good as well. The macadamia was good. The Tart was light, but it made the dish perfect.
Drinks: No Ka 'Oi is vodka with honey puree, lime, and garden basil. If you like lemon drop, you'll love this. It's very strong in its lime taste. Not my cup of tea. The girls seems to like it.
The Merriman's Mai Tai was delicious. I would recommend this drink to anybody. It's better than most Mai Tais I've drank.
Merriman's mule is very gingerly. Don't get it if you don't like ginger. I personally don't like it. I had better Moscow Mule.
Service: The service was pretty good. Our server was very informative. He was very incentive to our needs.
Parking: Valet parking only. Bring cash.
Ambience: The seaside view is breathtaking. Most of the seating has a good view. The lighting is dim and gives off a warm feeling. Tables are...

From the moment I stepped into this exquisite restaurant, I knew I was in for a special dining experience. The oceanfront view is breathtaking. It’s a place where every detail has been thoughtfully considered, setting the stage for an unforgettable meal.
The service was impeccable. Each staff member greeted us with genuine smiles and a keen interest in ensuring our experience was flawless. Our server, Marina, was knowledgeable, providing insightful recommendations and checking in at just the right moments without being intrusive. It’s clear that the management places a strong emphasis on training their team to deliver exceptional service.
Now, let’s talk about the food—truly the star of the show. Each dish was a work of art, not only in presentation but also in flavor. The chef’s attention to detail was evident in every aspect, from the meticulously sourced ingredients to the creative flavor combinations that tantalized our taste buds.
We started with an appetizer that was a perfect introduction to the meal, Poisson Cru and Hirabara Farms Beet Salad—For the main course, I opted for the pan-seared Wok Charred Ahi, cooked to perfection and served with a harmonious blend of roasted vegetables, I chose to substitute. My dining companion chose the USDA Prime Filet Mignon that was buttery and melt-in-your-mouth texture and taste.
Dessert was the crowning glory of our meal, a stunning Pineapple-Macadamia Nut Bread Pudding served alongside house-made Tahitian vanilla bean ice cream. Each bite was pure bliss, and it was the perfect way to conclude a remarkable dining experience.
This restaurant sets the standard for fine dining, with its exceptional attention to detail in every aspect—from service to cuisine. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or just looking to indulge in a memorable meal, this gem is not to be missed. I left feeling enchanted and eager to return. Highly...
Read moreCame here for my birthday and it was a fantastic experience from service to food to views.
We were seated in the main covered area in the corner facing Molokai and even though it got a little windy near the end of our evening, was still a nicely covered area and with spectacular views. Our server indulged us with a few pictures in different spots at our request!
Cocktails were great, Mai Tai and Ol Na Koi. Not too sweet and good punch of alcohol.
Complimentary bread basket and shot of warm tomato soup with chickpeas was a good start, very flavorful and the bread was nice and warm and fluffy.
Starters ordered the octopus and heirloom tomatoes. Octopus was a little bit fishy but cooked perfectly and the dish was tasty (I work in the food industry and am very sensitive to the freshness of seafood). The heirloom tomato dish looks and is honestly very basic BUT is a nice fresh compliment to the octopus dish. I enjoyed the pairing greatly.
Mains were scallops and shrimp. Seasoned well and cooked perfectly. My girlfriend loved it, I dislike scallops so not at liberty to comment really. I ordered the grilled lamb chops. Always appreciate it when the kitchen team nails a perfect medium rare and it comes out well rested with no blood on the plate! Delicious.
Desserts were the macadamia nut crusted tartlette with Tahitian ice cream and white chocolate filled malasadas with chocolate dipping sauce. The first was way too sweet, perhaps the only negative of the evening. I took one bite and didn't go back for more. The malasadas on the other hand were some of the best I've had and the sweetness was well complemented by the dark semi bitter chocolate sauce. Hands down the winner of the evening.
Maui's food industry like many others around the US have been hard hit by COVID and the fact that they are maintaining this quality of service and food is highly...
