This is for the McDonough Location:
Calling customers that are there to patronize your business, "Strangers" is absolutely wild to me. Strong business' welcome and value feedback regarding customer experience so that they can continuously improve. I was having a pleasant experience until being forced to engage with an over zealous manager who had no issues disrespecting employees in front of customers. The employee was very kind, patient to explain the new menu items, and had welcoming energy. I was more than willing to return that patience back to him. However, the way in which she intervened, the energy became very uncomfortable and I was embarrassed for him. It was a conversation that could have waited until customers left in a more respectful manner to the staff working. When I brought it to her attention in private that it made me feel uncomfortable being apart of that as a customer, she later approached me on my way out, w a spirit of pride and lack of accountability for the poor customer experience that I endured as a result of her own behavior, and not his. (cognitive dissonance)is a real issue and not a desirable trait to have when leading others in any capacity. She didn't respect that she was being "corrected" in private, but also could not accept that she just embarrassed someone at work and in a public setting. She was defending a position that she could not stand on, when she saw nothing wrong with her own behavior toward him. I walked into what I thought was a business and not your home. I don't care to know what roles you play to each other outside of what I came for. All I want is good food in a safe -handling environment and a pleasurable experience. I can only imagine how she treats the rest of the staff that are not on the front line. The young man did provide a good customer experience as a frontline person and what he lacked in that moment could easily be improved with practice in a less agitated demonstration from "management". I skipped a lot of places to go there because I like to do business with likable people & "family oriented" establishments; however, I'm ok with never going back to this location in this franchise. I was completely turned off w her response to me as a customer and what she deems as appropriate for others but not for herself in a work setting. All I want is good food in a safe -handling environment and a pleasurable experience. That extends to how staff is treated and customers are valued. I'd rather be a "stranger" to...

Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhile driving home from Atlanta we stopped in McDonough to find something to eat. We were going to get something else but I saw Cowboy Chicken and thought why not. First of all, I love the name. I think itās funny and unique. Secondly, the customer service was excellent. Iām quite indecisive but the cashier was extremely patient with me while I ordered. For three meals and three drinks it was about 44$ which isnāt bad at all for the amount of food you get. I got the three piece dark with sweet potato fries and Mac and cheese, and honey mustard to dip my fries in. I also tried the cream spinach and the beans. To start, I love sweet potatoes and I eat them multiple times a day. But, these sweet potato fries were hands down the best Iāve ever had in my entire life. I had to physically stop eating to take a moment and appreciate it. Secondly, the mac and cheese was absolutely stunning. I was a little thrown off at first, thereās a taste I couldnāt place, but when I took a second bite it tasted like heaven. Donāt even get me started on the chicken. Iām not a big chicken person, I tend to find it to be too dry and unflavored from most restaurants. Not this chicken. It was juicy, tender, the skin was a perfect amount of crispiness you just needed to go for another bite for, a solid 6/5. The roll was lacking, I will say, I found it bland and didnāt finish it all. The spinach and beans were my momās so I only tried some, the beans were delicious, and had some kind of pepper to give it a almost tangy taste, and Iām not a big fan of creamed spinach but it was also good. Also the strawberry lemonade is to die for. Literally. Even the honey mustard I asked for was tasteful. Service was also very quick and everything was hot but not too hot you couldnāt dig in. I was content and full after finishing my meal. Iāll definitely be stopping by again...
