So first off I am not the type to leave reviews ever however this experience needs to be shared. We have eaten here many many times and have never had a problem but tonight was very disappointing. After being seated we were still waiting on two members of our party (brother & sister in law) my husband and I went ahead and ordered appetizers and drinks while we waited for them. Once they got there it took 20 minutes for my sister in law to even receive her coke. We ordered our entrees and waited about 45 mins for them to arrive. Upon our entrees arriving we realized the waitress had forgotten my brother in laws order all together. After about another 10 minutes of waiting we started to wonder where our toddlers chicken fingers were. Another 20 minutes passed before we even seen our waitress. I asked where my child’s tenders were and she immediately ran into the back (clearly she never rang it in) once she returned she claimed that “the kitchen was backed up on fried food” I don’t believe that at all. But while she was gone we noticed that my husband had several mussels that were still closed and I had a couple of clams that were still closed as well. We were obviously concerned that they were not cooked fully. After bringing this up the waitress she once again goes to the back. Eventually the manager shows up and states “the food has to be cooked for a certain amount of time so there is no way it is undercooked” I don’t believe that at all but we aren’t the type of people to make a huge a scene. Once we started to crack open our crab legs we realized the meat was very mushy and bits of it were ice cold. It is worth mentioning that the corn was also mushy and not tasty at all. The eggs were also a tint of green which after googling it says that could mean they were very over cooked. After all this the manager offered shots from the bar or a free desert. Of course that’s because it is the best way to help out there margin instead of offering to take a little off the bill. We paid in total before tip just over $300. This experience was extremely disappointing. From the questionable food to all the mistakes made by the waiter we are just very disappointed. Also worth mentioning we did accept a free slice of chocolate cake for our toddler and took it to go just to get home and find that the waitress gave us red velvet instead. We certainly will not be returning after this experience.

I have dined at this restaurant several times. Honestly I have to say it can be a hit or miss. Sometimes the crab legs are overcooked but fortunately today they were so tender and juicy. The corn on the cob was boiled perfectly, I asked for only butter and garlic, I would have loved more garlic but it's okay. Everything was really tasty today. I typically only get the crab legs with the added boiled eggs to the bag. I love to crush up the potatoes and the eggs and let it get all in the seasoning and just enjoy it with my crab legs. This is a great spot to come during lunch time and get some work done while enjoying a great meal. There was only one other customer when I came today which was perfect because once they left I was here by myself. The food came out piping hot as always so I kept working until it cooled off. The service was good. Not anything particularly special but it was definitely a good experience. I truly enjoy the Fantastic R&B playlist that they had vibing through the restaurant. It made it easy to enjoy my mail and get some work done. There are a few benches that need to be reupholstered. Some of the seats have really big tears in them but the rest of the restaurant is pretty well kept. This is my local crab place so I will definitely be back

Service was horrible . first time customer & I just wanted to have some seafood and drinks . Waitress had no knowledge of any of the drinks , so far as me having questions .. ordered some oysters … Now I am a seafood eater i eat oysters all the time . You can smell the horrible quality of these oysters . You can even see it . Once I asked the waiter about the oysters she presumed to tell me the manager said “these oysters are delivered fresh , daily” . I only ate 1 oyster out of the dozen that was ordered . Waiter continued to say “we normally don’t take orders back but I’ll take it for you” . If you know seafood like I do . Freshness & quality is the top priority as you can get extremely sick off of bad seafood . Please beware before eating here . I spent well over $185 here. Other than that drinks were pretty cool .

I don’t know which is worse, terrible service and good food or terrible food and fantastic service. In this instance, the food was good but I have not decided if it’s worth a return trip. I recently had an injury that has me walking with a cane. So the hostess fast marches me towards the back of the restaurant, by-passing empty tables. Part of this was inexperience and the rest was just not paying attention. My companion did ask if I wanted to say something. I declined. This is a warning to those with mobility issues—the hostesses are not observant and the wheelchair ramp inside has a very prominent transition that is a tripping hazard on a forced march. Let’s talk about food. It is a boil, but if that’s not your thing, you do have other options. We went with the pick 2 and pick 3. I went with fried oysters and catfish. My friend chose whiting, shrimp and chicken (as a back up in case she didn’t like the fish). We selected hush puppies for an appetizer. The hush puppies were light, crispy and piping hot. They were served with a spicy dipping sauce and I never made up my mind if I liked them with or without the sauce. They didn’t need sauce. But if you like dipping things, go for the sauce. My oysters were light and crunchy. Perfectly seasoned. The catfish was perfectly breaded, firm, and juicy. I sampled the whiting and liked it. The tartar sauce was okay. My friend thought it was a little heavy on the pickle. I thought it needed salt and a squeeze of lemon. I would have added the salt, but there wasn’t any on the table. They are SLOW. And the service is even slower. I don’t mind if the food is slow, as long as a server updates me on its progress. This was not the case. In fact, once the order was taken and the incidentals were out of the way, we didn’t see our server again until my friend went for an ETA on the hush puppies. Popping by the table just to reassure us the food was being prepared would have been nice. We had to ask for drink refills when asking about the state of our order. When we were ready to go, we asked for to go boxes. It took 10 minutes to get them. They weren’t busy. It was a race weekend down at the speedway. By the time we left-a little after 3 pm- they started picking up. The server had a great attitude and she was very nice. So no fault there. But her slowness and inability to follow up...

Talk about total disappointment! Spending good money ($100) or more; you’d expect exceptional quality food! That’s not the case! Everything was a disaster with the exception to the honey mustard! That’s the only thing worth rating! Nothing was seasoned per the menu listing of being Cajun! The fries were so hard & dry with nothing even close to being Cajun as advertised (Cajun fries)! Nothing was seasoned, not even a drop of salt & pepper! I’m not sure if the cooks were tired or just need to hang up their aprons! But nothing they cooked was good or if quality! The shrimp was breaded & super soggy, a mess! Unseasoned & pure nasty. Hushpuppies certainly hushed us right up; as they were so hard & dry; one bite into them & we had no words! Hushed for sure! The fish dinners were beyond disastrous with no flavor! You could tell they are a little confused on flavor! Cheese sticks cold to the core! Calamari was a mess of undercooked rings. Certainly appears they threw in a microwave to warm & nothing more! Let’s not discuss the corn that was tossed in a boil bag with what appeared was a mountain of slop; suppose to been some sort of special sauce but the special part flew out the window! The garlic butter was thrown on top of the corn bag & leaked inside. EVERYTHING was horrible & money wasted! I wish we had the same cooks as some of these folks who left reviews. Worse seafood we’ve ever had in life as seafood lovers! Our kids were disgusted! The only thing this food was good for was a detox effect from trying a few bites! I don’t think stray animals would enjoy this from the garbage all of it was left in. We will never return!...
