Edited: We've come many times now. Always consistently delicious.
Original Post:
My husband said this is our new pizza spot! All four of us enjoy! Y'all gotta try this new local gem!
$45 for our family of 4 the first time and $55 the second time (before tip on both). The second time we ordered larger sizes and were able to make an entire second meal out of it. (Below I'll write exactly what we ordered for the cost.) 👍
Plus, the kids meal comes with pepperoni Pizza, chips and a fountain drink for only $2.99! Basically everywhere else is double that.
1st picture was from the first trip:
Medium Veggie Pizza on thin crust with red sauce and extra cheese (their thin crust is only about half the dough of the regular cost, so not a true thin, but it was still good!) 8 smaller slices - my husband ate the whole thing by himself
Large White Pizza on thin crust with added toppings (pepperoni, Italian sausage and chicken) very yummy! - me and my 11 yr old daughter shared, it was 8 slices and we had 3 or 4 left
Kids Pepperoni Pizza w/ drink and bag of chips - daughter liked it - perfect size for a 10 year old, but my daughter saved her chips for later
3 waters
2nd picture was from the 2nd trip:
Large Veggie Pizza on thin crust with white sauce and extra cheese (Husband preferred the red sauce the first time to the white sauce the second time, but did enjoy the white sauce.) -husband ate half
X-Large White Pizza on thin crust with added toppings (pepperoni, onion, ham, Italian sausage and chicken) and extra cheese - 10 Large slices, split again between me and my 11 year old daughter, we ate 4 slices and had 6 left
Kids Pepperoni Pizza w/ drink
Garlic cheese bread - we wanted to try it. It was good.
This did leave enough leftover for a whole other meal.
3rd Trip we also got the cinnamon sticks to-go and I've posted a photo of those as well. Wasn't a big fan, to be honest.
We've also tried the bone in lemon pepper wings and woah, those are delicious!! (They have the good...
Read moreFirst, let me say, I am not a huge pizza person, but Barro's has changed that! The service at this place was fantastic. Zach greeted us right away and made sure we were enjoying our meal throughout our visit.
We ordered the Barro's Special pizza and the Spicy BBQ Chicken pizza, both with NY style crust. The Barro's Special was the best pizza I have had in a very long time! The crust was the perfect balance: tender and chewy, yet crisp on the bottom and outer ring around the whole pie. The toppings were spread almost to the outer edge, ensuring tons of flavor in every bite. The meat toppings were of high quality, and the veggies were fresh.
Overall, the dining experience at Barro's was exceptional. I will definitely be going back again!
EDIT: We've been back several times since our first visit, and I have nothing but great things to say about this place. The entire staff is incredibly friendly, and Hayden is another standout team member who made our experience even better.
I've tried almost all the flavors of pizza, and our second favorite is definitely the Chicken Supreme. We've also sampled both desserts and give them our seal of approval. While I think the cinnamon sticks could use a bit more topping, my husband thinks they were perfect just the way they are.
Overall, a fantastic spot with great food and...
Read moreI went in today to try the lunch special. I had 30 minutes for lunch. When I got to the register to place my order, I discovered they had lots of pizza that nobody wanted--plain cheese, and pineapple. There's a reason nobody wanted these. So wouldn't it make sense to make more of the pizzas that people actually want during lunch? I asked her how long it would be she said "there's a pepperoni coming out now and a sausage in 8 minutes. " I was pressed for time and I said okay just give me whatever's coming out right now. So 10 minutes later, as my lunch hour is dwindling down, I walk up to the counter and she sees that I'm very impatient and then both a pepperoni and a sausage pizza come out TOGETHER. The pepperoni was decent, but the sausage was seriously lacking sausage, as you can see in the picture. My slice had three little tiny pieces of sausage, yet the pepperoni was loaded with meat. So if you're deciding between the two, trust me when I say that pepperoni is the right choice. The crust is a little bit too thick but not too bad. But the sausage pizza needed at least double the amount of sausage that it had to qualify as a sausage pizza. I hope the owner of this place looks at this review constructively and implements some...
