Drip N Roll — Restaurant in McKinney

I wanted a nearby place to take my granddaughter to get a dairy-free treat and found Drip N Roll in McKinney. It isn't super easy to find, as it is in a small shopping section on the service road beside I-75, but after finding it, we went in to see what they had to offer.

I was pleasantly surprised at the number of options available that were dairy-free in the frozen section; you get a cup and fill it yourself with whatever flavor(s) of frozen treat that you want, then you move on to the large toppings bar to dress it up as you see fit. The final cup of dessert is weighed and you pay according to the weight of what you choose. There are also other options, including rolled ice cream, boba drinks, etc.

The location was fairly clean; restrooms were decent. I would have given 5 stars but the staff was very uninterested in customers and seemed bored...

Went with my family. The place initially looks awesome and clean but when I sat down I saw a dead German roach on the floor. I also saw a live spider climbing up the topping counter. Y’all need pest control clearly! The bathroom was gross too. My husband said he opened the trash can and someone had threw up in it and it smelled horrid. They got my moms order wrong twice. The second time I told them to just forget it we will take what they made out of pity. The ice cream or froyo is mediocre. The girls were SCARED to say “excuse me ma’am” to a customer who they had to tell they were out of something. They hesitated and stared at eachother for a good 10 seconds awkwardly before one said something. All while we are standing there waiting to give our order. The toppings are scarce on the roll ups...first and...

I really love stopping by here. Employees are polite , offer great customer service, and never fail to deliver anything less than perfect. With choices from smoothies, frappes, and ice cream, to milk teas and boba toppings, you’ll find something you can’t get enough of.My go-tos are the Piña Colada smoothie, and Velvet Crush rolled ice cream. On top of that, the already large menu is expanded even further with the selection of frozen yogurt along the back wall.

The decor inside makes it a great place to chill out with your friends and family. (Bonus points for the accessible Nintendo Switch and boardgames!)
