No matter how busy they are, a friendly and service oriented crew during my daytime visits. The cooked food is consistently good. At night, there is a different group running the place, and the atmosphere is different. I see a lot of horseplay, gossiping and other "non work" behaviors I don't see during the daytime shifts. This may be a non issue to some people, but for me, it's not. So my rating is based on at least 12 or more occasions where the following has happened in the past 6 months. I order a large cup of ice dream. On some days I get a small cup that a 6pc order of grilled nuggets come in. Some days that order comes back as a small kids size soft drink. Sometimes, and rarely, it actually comes back to me in a large sized cup that the shakes come in. When I've asked each "manager" why they do this, each one says "this is the way it comes now" and blows off my concern. I have to ask myself, why is it that I can get half the size of ice dream one day as I do another day, and in different containers, but yet be expected to pay the same price? Even from a business perspective, controlling portions is part of food cost control. I would think I'd see more consistency, but I don't. I mean, set your price and let the customer know what they are buying, then they can decide if the portion provided is value driven? I travel a lot across Texas often and also into Oklahoma for my job. All the other franchises I stop in on have consistently provided me a large foam cup that one of the milkshakes come in. This has recently been true in Allen, Denton, Plano, Sherman, Norman, etc. Is there something special about this location or franchise that I'm...
Read moreI saw there was an empty line. So, I thought I would stop and take another chance there. I am currently dealing with some pretty nasty health conditions. So I thought you know I would eat there supposed to be Christian and healthy whatever. Little did I know they added unwanted bugs to their food… As I am trying to figure out what to order because I don’t normally go to this establishment I don’t get out that much. As I was asking the very kind young lady helping me to order about the gluten-free bun and the different sauces to have put on there she was very kind. As I was trying to figure it out, I got yelled at by a “man” in the truck behind me. I guess that’s what you can call him, a “man”. He didn’t act like a man….to hurry and get my order done. Rude! I used cash so I went to the next stop with the sweet gentleman that helped me out with a gracious attitude. Then I get to the window and I’m looking at the order because the last time I ordered a gluten-free bun with my grilled chicken, there was no bun. I’m looking at this sack of items that I have to put my whole sandwich together, sauce and all. There wasn’t a knife to cut up the lettuce and chicken to fit the tiny bun or spread the sauces. I asked for some and the young “man” made a Jerk remark! I had to pull over to make my sandwich…. And the lettuce had BUGS on it…. I was treated incredibly rudely! So, I took the bug ridden food and had to go inside to give them back Their Bug Ridden Food. I yelled “Do you normally serve Bugs with your food?” I am so sickened about it! And no I didn’t ask for my money back. Again, another Bad Experience! NEVER AGAIN! I...
Read moreFood: I have always loved Chick-fil-a. Food is always fresh.
Service: Staff is great. Got my milkshake brought first, then the food and it didn’t take long at all. Kids were bummed as they only played for less than 5 minutes until it came. We went to the counter for multiple refills on our drinks and the staff was always attentive to the fact that we needed the refills.
Atmosphere: Dining room was quite large. I liked the variety of seating types: small tables, group tables, high tables, booths, and half booths. There are also cleaning supplies in multiple corners or the room if you’d like to sanitize and clean your own table. Hand sanitizer dispensers are also around the doorways for convenience. The trash cans are also no-touch automatic which I love!
Con for me: the playground. There’s a bench where the kids can take off and put on shoes that also serves as a storage space for the shoes. It’s all enclosed in glass, however, and becomes quite loud. The echoes inside hurt my ears with the kids being so loud, but they didn’t seem to mind. Parents aren’t meant to stay inside the play area, but instead in the dining area and just watch through the glass. The playground looks small enough that little kids shouldn’t get lost, but there are still areas you can’t fully see which bothered me. I say another kid playing rough with my son and thought that if an altercation happened somewhere in the back that I wouldn’t be able to see what happens. I didn’t like that. I also wish they put a hand sanitizer dispenser at the door going immediately out of...
