I work at a car dealership with ~200 employees that frequently order Jimmy Johns, and today felt like a Jimmy Johns kinda day. Well when I called our local store, I was told we are now out of the delivery area.
In disbelief, since we have ordered there countless times over the past two years, I called back and spoke with the store manager. He said that we really did not do to much business with the store anyways. I mentioned to him that we have a large group of technicians that normally order once a week from one of the stores we have, and I know several people go there to eat, several times a week. Not to mention the families that live near the store and get food. I asked him flat out if he just did not want our business, and his response was that it was not up to him, but to Corporate, and they were not allowed to travel that extra .2 miles to deliver now, that the money our store brought in to deliver, did not allow them to make an exception.
No longer eating at your business, thank you for the food. Oh, and also recalling times when we wanted to order for Saturday lunches that would feed 200+, and being told we needed to place the order in a week before hand, not 3...
Read moreI don't post reviews very often, but I had to relate this experience. When I entered this Jimmy John's shop, there was 3 or 4 wadded up napkins and other trash just inside the door, there was a stack of cardboard storage boxes to the left near the front window, and there was a guy behind the counter laying on the floor working on some equipment. I stepped up to order and said I wanted the #2 Roast Beef. I asked what my bread choices were and couldn't understand the employee even after asking him to repeat twice. Then, someone else started making a regular sized sandwich, but I wanted a large. I was never asked. I was looking at what my options were for toppings - onions, tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, etc. and before I could decide, the worker handed me my sandwich! I guess they don't make it the way I want it, they make it the way they want it. I thought Jimmy John's bragged about how the only deliver within 5 minutes of their stores so the sandwiches are hot. Well, I was in the store and got a cold sandwich. That sandwich had a minimal amount of meat on it, mayo, lettuce and tomato, and nothing else. It was the most flavorless meal I've had in years. Very...
Read moreDisappointing customer service. When I walked in, no one was at the counter. Then a young lady came up, looked at me and said nothing. No smile, no greeting, literally nothing. She just looked at me. It was very awkward. So I started off with my order (2 combos) and that was it. No explanation for where to get the drinks, where they call out the order, where to pick it up, nothing. She just left the counter after taking my order. I found where to get chips and drinks, and sat at a table and waited. And waited. Meanwhile something starts burning in the kitchen area and the restaurant smells like burnt food. A few people came in and out, fast forward about 20 minutes and I’m still sitting there waiting for someone to call out my sandwiches. Finally I stood up and asked for the status of my order. The girl said “we called it out already.” I said “Oh, I didn’t hear you call out anything.” Then one of the young men came over to help me and handed me my sandwiches and apologized. It was just an overall disappointing experience, way different than any other Jimmy John’s...
