Google Review: Eggsquisite Café
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I’ll start this review with the highest praise for Hannah, a server at the exquisite Eggsquisite Café, who turned an ordinary Friday brunch into an extraordinary culinary delight! My visit to this gem of a café on August 23, 2024, was defined not just by delectable food but also by Hannah's unparalleled service and warm demeanor. The Ambiance and Location: Eggsquisite Café, nestled at 2058 W University Dr Ste 800 in McKinney, TX, offers a cozy yet sophisticated atmosphere perfect for any meal. The moment you step in, you’re greeted with inviting décor and an aroma that promises a delightful gastronomic journey. The Culinary Experience: I started my meal with a hot cup of Coffee that was perfectly brewed, robust, and invigorating. For the main course, I indulged in a Bacado Omelet, which was a creamy and savory blend of bacon and avocado, cooked to perfection. The Venetian Chicken Panini was equally impressive, featuring tender chicken with delightful Mediterranean flavors. The sides were just as noteworthy: Sweet Potato Fries: Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, with the perfect hint of sweetness. Fried Okra: Crunchy, seasoned, and irresistible. Side Fruit: Fresh, vibrant, and a delightful palate cleanser. But Hannah saved the best for last. She surprised me with a bowl of fresh strawberries, blueberries, and blackberries adorned with a generous mound of freshly piped whipped cream. This dessert wasn’t just a treat; it was a heavenly culmination of my brunch, and each bite was bursting with freshness and perfectly balanced sweetness. Service Par Excellence: Hannah was the shining star of this entire experience. Friendly, professional, and genuinely caring, she ensured that every aspect of my visit was impeccable. Her attention to detail, warm hospitality, and personable nature transformed a meal into a memorable experience. Diamonds may be rare and valuable, but Hannah's exceptional service truly set her apart as a gem in the world of dining. She made me feel welcomed, valued, and left me with a smile long after I exited the café. The Bill: The total for this delightful meal was $44.31, with a detailed breakdown showcasing the reasonable pricing for such high-quality fare. The suggested tip amounts were considerate, and I was more than happy to oblige. Hannah’s service was worth every penny and then some. Conclusion: Eggsquisite Café is not just about exquisite dining – it’s about the combined majesty of impeccable food and extraordinary service. My visit was an uplifting experience, a testament to the café’s dedication to quality and guest satisfaction. Hannah, with her spectacular service, is a rare find, and any dining establishment would be lucky to have her. Highly recommend this café to anyone looking for a heartwarming, delicious, and soul-satisfying meal. I can’t wait to return. Thank you, Eggsquisite Café, and a special thank...
Read moreSO, I GOT FIRED TODAY FOR BEING HONEST WITH OUR CUSTOMERS!!! I had recently found out that the owner has been mixing our "fresh squeezed OJ" with Tampico, which is absolutely false advertising btw..pretty sure that's illegal? and its almost $6 for a small glass of it. So, me being me, I just didn't feel right selling OJ without at least informing the customers of what it really is, artificial OJ with some fresh squeezed mixed in, cause they wouldn't know since it doesn't say anything about any additives on the menu. So yes, i'd be honest about it and every single time, the customers would thank me for being honest and proceed to order something different. Since I found out a week ago, only two people still ordered the OJ, everyone else changed their mind...does that not say enough? The manager pulled me into the office and yelled at me saying I need to stop telling the customers whats in it...basically wanting me to lie and let the customers think its all natural. I told him I would not lie to the customers and he said "You don't have to lie, just don't tell them" thats basically still lying. I'm sorry my morals are higher than that. Its just wrong. The owner is also changing much more, buying cheaper product, changing recipes, changing our tip out system so the servers actually make less than they have been for 4+ years, literally anything he can do to get more money in HIS pocket. In the last week they have lost several, several workers, who have been there for years, due to the new owner and his ways of running the restaurant. He makes everyone uncomfortable and causes problems daily. So people are leaving, even the regulars are leaving. So that's that. I was fired for telling our customers whats...
Read moreFirst time eating at this location and it was not a great experience with service. Food was good but service was not.
Our group was 3 adults and 1 child. We were walked to a table and waited to be seated while the hostess was grabbing additional chairs. The booth next to the table was open and I asked if we can just sit there. The girl told us it was for larger groups. I understood that and I was ok with table. The issue is a few minutes later they sat down a group of 4 white people at the booth after they told us we couldn't sit there even though our group was 4 people (non-white) as well. Either they don't consider a child a person or they have a race issue.
The second negative experience was with the service for food. I ordered a steak skillet. We ended up getting two brought to us. I told the person we didn't order two but if they already made it we will take it and didn't mind paying for it. He placed both at our table. About 10 minutes later the waitress comes over and said she realized the second skillet was for someone else and just took it off the table before I even had a chance to tell her I already touched that food. I went up to her to tell her we will just take it and pay for it and I already touched it. She said they already threw it away. They threw away a whole skillet of food... so wasteful! I tried to tell her before she abruptly grabbed it and took it away from our table. We ended up ordering another skillet.
The food itself was decent. We enjoyed our...
