HiFi Wine Bar — Restaurant in McMinnville

We were here for the last night of our vacation in Oregon. We'd done some wine tasting, and a lot of the winery workers recommended coming here, so we did. It was super fun.

We came in, and the space is really nice. It has a pool table in the back, lots of seating at the bar as well as comfy couches, chairs and tables all around, and a huge chandelier with old-school Edison bulbs. There's also a large collection of vinyl records - fun choices. All and all, a nice ambience, with some playfulness and an adult vibe.

We got some food and some wine - my husband got a tempranillo and a white Burgundy, and I got a sparkling rose and a Nerello Mascalese. All were tasty, well served, right temperature, right glasses. Just on point. The food was also surprisingly tasty and nicely prepared - this is way, way nicer than your average bar food, so adjust your expectations accordingly. We got some seasonal pasta and an onion tart, both of which were good, and no complaints there either. We were having a grand old time. We finished off with some dessert wine and blue cheese - great match.

We'd asked for some recommendations on what wines would be good with what food, what the differences between wines would be, and what might be fun to take a bottle home. I can't vouch for the take-home bottle yet, but all of the other info we got was spot-on. They know what they are doing.

We'd come back any day, and will the next time we're in Oregon. This is a great place to go for fantastic wine, good help, and a really happy friendly vibe. This wine bar is a beautiful place to spend the evening! The design is so warm and inviting. A gorgeous bar with a one of a kind chandelier is the first thing you see when you walk in. There are a couple of places for groups to sit in the front room as well, but make sure you don't miss seeing the side room. There are a lot of beautiful tables there for groups of 6-8.

The wine list is extensive, and there are so many great choices to try by the glass or bottle. They offer still and sparkling water. There's also a great small plates menu. And don't forget to check out the dessert pairings.

The staff is friendly and welcoming. The ambiance is so cozy. It feels fancy, but also chill and comfortable. The music is always fun and oddly perfect for the moment (how do they do that?!) I had an opportunity to enjoy this fun spot on 3rd Street, in the heart of McMinnville. The mood of the atmosphere feels inviting and the food preparation was spectacular. Not my regular restaurant experience. I was there with a company party which was paying the bill. We ate several courses of appetizers, similar to tapas, and we drank a selection wines that pared extremely well.
