We would definitely never return to this place nor would we recommend it. Let's talk about the service. When the waitress did finally come we asked between two dishes which one she recommended. She said you either want beans or you don't. Wow. Two completely different plates. Thanks. Once we got our dinner, which I will say wasn't long ago so a plus on that. Never once did she come back to check on us. No one did. Empty cups, everything. We spent an hour there. The busser came by and asked if we needed anything, yes can we have some refills? She said how many. Well, four empty water cups. And a refill for the kids Pepsi and Dr Pepper. So probably that right? All she did was bring me a to-go box. More and more time goes by. At this point, I gave up. Walked out with my daughter and told my husband and son you handle it. About 5 minutes later my son walked out. About 15 minutes later my husband comes. After all this time they finally came to bring a bill. This place is the same as every other Mexican restaurant. You're definitely not missing out on anything. The food was bland, my daughter's nachos were nothing but melted cheese with hardly any meat. My husband's tacos were so bland. Rice and beans with no flavor. Just everything was bad. In my honest opinion. I'd go to Taco Bell before I came back to this restaurant.

we chose to celebrate our 3 year anniversary tonight at los molcajetes! shared the super nachos (add carne asada), the chimichangas (beef and chicken, we both ended up preferring the chicken but both were great), and a fried ice cream for dessert. i had a mudslide to drink and my boyfriend had the blue margarita (we both preferred it blended rather than on the rocks. i don’t like the taste of alcohol and the mudslide was perfect for that. everything tasted fantastic and we enjoyed the fun atmosphere with the brightly colored umbrellas and multicolored string lights. the booths felt private, as they were high backs and felt sturdy. price was excellent, we were guessing how much we thought the check was going to be and we both overestimated how much it would cost. needless to say, we will be back next time i visit!

We dined here for my birthday this particular time. It's my favorite Mexican restaurant. Our waiter was inattentive once our order was placed even though they weren't very busy. Maybe they were short staffed. The food was yummy, but the SB margarita was weak ( had to ask for an additional shot ). This visit scores an " average" rating, but I'm not giving up on this place yet ! Hopefully, they'll do better next time.

We hadn't been out to eat in over 6 months due to budget constraints. The wife and I finally were able to save enough to go out to an early dinner, Saturday. Arrived about 3:00 pm, not too busy at all, got seated after a reasonable wait. Service was good, we made our order, food came in a timely manner. She had a Super Burrito and I ordered the Camarones Mexicanos. My wife's Super Burrito was really good according to her and it looked it. My order looked good, but when I started to eat I realized that the shrimp had, not just a little shell down by the tail, but more than halfway up the body like they weren't peeled properly. So I separated the shrimp from the veggies and other things and started to peel them. They were either improperly cooked or something, because the shell was very hard to remove without shredding the shrimp. I became frustrated, who likes having to pick up sauced shrimp to try to peel it, and was going to say something to our server, but she was nowhere to be seen. I didn't want to ruin dinner for my wife, so I decided to just eat the veggies and rice and beans w\tortillas. That is when I discovered that there were pieces of shell all through the veggies. So I sat and picked out the pieces I could find and spit out what I couldn't. During this time I was never able to get the attention of a server. I finally ate the beans and rice and took the rest home to try to salvage; it ended up in the garbage!! This used to be one of my favorite places to eat, but I feel like I wasted my time and money yesterday and I left feeling sorry I went there. We probably won't return, as Mexican shrimp dishes are...

We stopped there for dinner during McMinnvillle's Dine Out weekend. The restaurant wasn't super busy, I've seen it busier. We noticed an available table outside so I went in and asked the hostess if we can take it. She had a conversation with two other employees in Spanish so I couldn't understand what she was saying, but she told us to go ahead and take the table.

We waited far longer than we should have to be helped, almost to the point of getting up and leaving. A couple of servers walked past us several times before one finally stopped and asked for our order. It only got worse from there; we didn't wait too long for our drinks, but waited a very long time for our meals. Once we got our meals, which were only room temperature, it was like we didn't exist; we had to get the server's attention to ask for our request of extra limes that we had asked for when ordering. We then asked for more chips, but never got them and flagged down a table cleaner to ask for more salsa. The menu states that a meal comes with rice and beans, but we only got rice; not sure where the beans were. The server appeared as though he would rather be anywhere but there.

We've eaten at this restaurant before but never received such poor service, very disappointing. I will think twice...
