I was absolutely ecstatic when I discovered McMinnville had a Hawaiian restaurant!! So we immediately tried it out and here's a review of the food we got:

Crazy Chicken: This was unlike anything I had tasted, and in a good way! It was crispy and delicious. Only thing is if you're not a fan of the fried food taste (like me) it won't taste as good after a few bites (my boyfriend ordered this and loved it). The portion size was HUGE, the box was overflowing with food.

Korean BBQ Chicken: I expected this dish to be sweeter, but boy did it have some kick to it! I didn't enjoy the flavor very much, just tasted spicy and the meat was a bit chewy. However it was the end of their dinner service, so maybe if it was fresher it would have a better texture.

Char-Siu Pork: This was delicious, sweet, and tender. A little chewier than expected, but I had never had this thick of pork before. And it was purple, so that was fun!

Pork Adobo: This was AMAZING! So tender and juicy, with a great vinegar taste. I am a big fan salt so this had to be my favorite meat of them all.

Mac Salad: I thought the mac salad could have been better. I expected it to be thicker and creamer, instead it was kind of oily. It wasn't bad at all, but It could use some love.

Overall, we will be eating here again - the staff was so kind, they had run out of fried rice so they offered us some complimentary drinks! Portion sizes were awesome...

They don't serve you at the table. You order at the counter and they call your name. I've had the same cashier every time and she's always wonderful.

The Crazy Chicken is addictive. Try the sauces on the table.

The Mac Salad is good, but don't miss-read it as Mac and cheese . It's great if you know what to expect: macaroni salad.

I don't eat pork or beef, but my guests did. In my experience, coupled with my guests statements, I don't think there's a bad dish on the menu.

Not, a place to bring your vegan or vegetarian friends unless you let them know their options are veggies, kimchi, Mac salad, and rice. They also have gluten-free options.

I'm always too busy eating to take pictures. I'll take pictures and update the review later.

Great, lunch specials. I'm not a big eater, so the Bento is enough for me. However, I get a two meat option at lunch, eat about half, and eat the rest for dinner .

You won't be disappointed if you go. If I'm any indication, you'll crave it....

A couple months ago, I had Hawaii Five-O-Three when it was brought in as a group (catered) meal. It was delicious.

I live close and I have been there a few times, tonight being my 5th time total. Each and every time, they are sold out of many of their staple items and regularly have lists of menu items they're out of. Many times it is their primary meat dishes, so I have to order other things I didn't really want as much. It's super annoying, and disappointing when you want something that's on their menu.

But, tonight, much of their menu was unavailable or out of stock, INCLUDING RICE AND MAC! What kind of Hawaiian food restaurant runs out of rice and mac?! The employees, though very polite and apologetic, were also embarrassed they had run out of their main menu items. It's a real shame- because the food is good, but I strongly recommend you don't go just to be disappointed. Poor management, poor purchasing,...

On the main Avenue of McMinnville this unassuming restaurant dies big takeaway business. Steady stream of customers including many firefighters, who know good food. Traditional plate lunch had many meat options. The Teri chop steak and onions was delicious and beautifully cooked. Even better was the delicate meat of the Shoyu chicken. Rice and traditional macaroni salad was included. Better yet, the crazy chicken, a breaded and fried cutlet topped with a sweet sauce. They really know how to cook. The servings were huge. We have enough leftovers for two more meals, each! Great service, delicious food in a casual atmosphere. Adding a photo. Sorry, had started eating before remembering to take a pic.
