Wet Willie's — Restaurant in Memphis

The manager at Wet Willies on Beale Street was super racist and rude. They started shooting on Beale street and my friends and I got split up through the crowd. 2 of my friends went into wet willies for safety. I found them automatically but realized my other friend wasn’t in there. We were trying to explain to the worker at the door that our friend was outside by herself as a VISTOR AND A WOMAN. He was very empathetic but explained that he didn’t want to lose his job by letting her in because of his boss (who was from a distance, signaling him no). So we told the employee that we will just leave then because we was not leaving our friend outside by herself and the employee comply and starts to unlock the door. The manager runs across the store to the door and as we are trying to walk out he pushes through us and pushes the friend who was outside back from the door very aggressively. (Mind you, all of the commotion had died down and the police were handling it accoridngly). At this point we began to explain to him that his actions were unnecessary and we were leaving anyways. He continued to attack us and curse at us as if we are not humans..and further more young women. With that being saidWet Willie's your Memphis Beale Street location is very unprofessional. I’m upset by how my friends and I, educated, collegiate, professional, (one veteran that currently serves OUR COUNTRY as well), Black women were treated. Beyond that he wasn’t near as aggressive to the white people who feared our life as we were. People should not be treated like that. Women..should not be treated like...

The absolute worse customer service I’ve ever experienced.I came here on a Sunday I said a SUNDAY! It was little to no ppl in there. I ordered a 3in one (Shock Treatment, Call-A-Cab and Attitude Improvement) and it was terrible. I asked if I could change my drink and the cashier asked me who did I order from and told me to go back and order with her. I didn’t understand why I couldn’t just get a drink from her. I Walked literally 2 steps to the left just for the girl to tell me no. I asked for the manager and he was no help at all. I asked if I could get another drink he said “we don’t do that “ I asked if I could get a refund he said “we don’t do that either” at this point I was lost for words because I was polite and patient..Instead of him asking how he could make it better he stared right in my face and said “well I don’t care your not getting another drink or your money back” the drink was nasty, the customer service was awful and...

Was excited about visiting Wet Willie’s again this year, but I was disappointed when arrived after 12 and was told there was no cook and they did not know what time the cook would arrive or when they would be serving food. After being there for about an hour and half we still did not get food due too the cook not being there and was not offered an apology . What a disappointment.,. There wasn’t much of an apology about our group not being able to order food. The drinks was great as usual, but having food and drinks available in the same place was the reason why we chose to go there. . I hope this gets corrected in the future. I was here celebrating a birthday girls trip. Needless to say we all were disappointed after this experience. Please do better with...
