This is the only bad review I have ever written because the service here is extremely poor, the food is small in portion and tastes bad, and the hygiene is worrying. First of all, the salmon poke is almost unseasoned, with very few side dishes. The salmon on the surface looks abundant but is actually very little. By the halfway point, there was only tasteless white rice left. For 22.99 US dollars, I had the worst poke of my life, which really made me feel that the money was wasted. I was too hungry to say anything and could only eat it with tears in my eyes. Secondly, the 18% tip is mandatory. I was looking for a new place with new balanced flavors, not an easy task because I am currently in Culinary School and very picky about flavors, textures, presentation, etc. I've found Ceviches by Divino through a web search engine based on my location. The reviews were quite convincing as well so I gave it a try and... Oh my God !!!! I hit the Home run! The place was small but very clean, simple but cool, trendy without being pretentious. The customer service was excellent and genuine. The food was well plated, sufficiently portioned, promptly expedited and the flavor was just perfect. The "Chicha Morada" was a surprising new drink for me. Gisela was our Waitress and she really made us feel special and well taken care of. She was very attentive, polite, and knowledgeable about the food. Normally I don't have dessert but I couldn't resist being tempted by the "Lucuma Ice Cream with Picarones". No words to describe the novelty and very well balanced flavors. Only Gucci Garden Restaurant in Florence, Italy delivered the same level of dessert flavor perfection. The food is 5 stars, it’s delicious and the portions are good. The three star rating is to bring attention to the service. When we arrived we were told to sit anywhere. The bartender gave us menus. The server didn’t say anything to us. A few minutes later a couple was seated in tue table next to us. The server quickly brought them water and took their drink orders. We still had not gotten our orders yet. He came over to us and asked if we were ready to order meals. We asked for some water and ordered drinks. The food was brought out in reasonable time but then when we were ready to leave the server was nowhere to be found. The couple next to us had paid and left and we were still waiting. I asked the bartender for the check and paid but was really put off by the 20% gratuity automatically added to the check. This is a common practice in this area.
