Everything in the store is overpriced compared even to Publix which is more expensive than the average supermarket. I only wanted to buy one item and they said that if you use a card you have to make a minimum purchase of a certain amount, so I ended up buying stuff that I did not need. This never happened to me in Publix or anywhere else. They do not give refunds even if you have not opened the item, they used to give store credit, now I do not know if they still do that. They used to give you free matches, now even if you buy cigarettes or a candle, they make you buy the matches if you want them or need them. There are drunks and beggars right before going in the store, this has been in the case in other stores like Walgreens, but the people who work in Walgreens told these people to leave, I think that Triton does not do this because there is a Triton Liquors on the same street so they would be losing their customers. I have been there many times and there are ALWAYS beggars and drunks there. I stopped going to Triton because of this, even though I used to go to Triton for years because I live close by. They always change their staff so even if you buy stuff on a regular basis from them they never know who you are(I wonder why they keep changing their staff? It can be because employees are treated negatively or they are there illegally), they have a lot of products from Venezuela, Argentina, but few stuff from America so they do not help the local economy. I asked someone for help and they told me: "I do not speak English". The cashiers are rude because they talk amongst themselves in Spanish which is rude when there are people who come in who do not understand, the same cashier talked to me in English when I had to pay so there is no excuse that she does not know the language. They do not have a kosher food section which even Wal Mart has, who is much cheaper than Triton. I hardly ever saw the owner supervising the store or working there, I have though constantly seen him outside the...

Review: I recently visited a supermarket hoping for a quick and hassle-free shopping experience. Unfortunately, my visit turned out to be a frustrating ordeal due to the storeâs abysmal customer service. I spent over 20 minutes waiting for service at the food counter, only to witness the employees completely disregarding the customers and engaging in idle conversation amongst themselves.
It was disheartening to see the lack of attention given to the customers, who were patiently waiting to be served. Instead of efficiently attending to their needs, the staff seemed more interested in their own conversations, oblivious to the growing frustration of those seeking assistance. The absence of a sense of urgency or concern for the customers was evident throughout my entire visit.
As a customer, it is incredibly disappointing to spend valuable time waiting for service while employees neglect their responsibilities. The supermarket failed to prioritize customer satisfaction, leaving me with a negative impression and an unpleasant experience. Efficient and attentive service is vital, especially in a supermarket where time is of the essence.
I strongly urge the management of this supermarket to address these service shortcomings promptly. Customers deserve to be treated with respect and given prompt attention, irrespective of the staffâs personal conversations. An improvement in customer service will not only enhance the shopping experience but also contribute to a positive reputation for the supermarket.
Overall, my experience at this supermarket was marred by the excessive wait times and the staffâs disregard for the customers. I hope that the management takes this feedback constructively and implements measures to rectify these issues. Until then, I cannot recommend this supermarket to others who value efficient service and customer...
Read moreIn December 2023 I decided to spend my Christmas vacation in Miami Beach away from the cold of Nyc. It wasnât my first time in the Miami Beach area but this time I decided to stay away from the hustle and bustle of SoBe . At first after arriving I was a bit shocked by how expensive it was and at times I felt like it was more expensive than nyc. Luckily the hotel I was staying in nearby I met a few people who directed me to the Triton Supermarket. Being on somewhat of a budget I was very grateful to find out that this supermarket had daily prepared meals at a very reasonable price. I wouldnât lie but I was soon a regular at the supermarket purchasing either lunch or dinner. I was very grateful that I didnât have to eat any junk food and that I could have these meals that reminded me of sometimes by childhood home cooked meals. On most days I would see my lovely friend Maria Fernanda at the serving area. She would just smile and I would laugh because she knew what I was coming forâŚ. the delicious food. I must admit that she was also very patient as I decided which meal I wld have that day. Itâs soo funny that down to the last day of my trip I visited the supermarket one last time before my flight. Besides the meals I didnât really buy much items but I did see that it was indeed a life saver to many of the families and the visitors in that area. I must also add that the convenience of their operating hours even during the holidays were greatly appreciated. If I do stay in this area again I would indeed return to see my dear friend and for some delicious food . Thank again Maria...
