Good food that is relatively quick and the food bowls are reasonably priced. The staff here is consistently slow which is a little frustrating. It takes unnecessarily long to complete an order. This isn't just a one-time instance. It is literally every time I go there 😓 In part to avoid this, I wish that there were an app, or way to possibly order ahead online :/ I frequent this place often as it is close by, but I would frequent here even more, if such an option existed... The restaurant lacks variety in their available drink options, which is another missed opportunity in my opinion. The restaurant is relatively small in size, but understandably so. It mostly caters to take out orders, but there is some indoor seating available. You can seat yourself after placing an order, but know that seating is limited... Overall, the place is exactly what you would expect of a to-go restaurant specializing in food bowls...offering quick, good tasting, relatively healthy food options.
Pro tip They have the BEST brownies, individually packaged, and in a jar near the registers. I definitely recommend trying them for dessert...
Read moreI’ve been eating at Chicken Kitchen since I was a kid — back when they opened in Aventura Mall — and I can’t believe how far this place has fallen. I recently went to the South Beach location on Alton Rd and 15th, and they tried to charge me $1 just to leave the skin on my chicken. Are you serious? Charging for something you usually throw in the trash? That’s insulting.
Over the years, I let a lot slide — like shrinking the sauce containers in half and limiting how many you get — all clearly just ways to cut corners. But this new charge was the last straw. I walked out and didn’t even buy the Chop Chop I came in for. That’s how disrespected I felt as a long-time customer.
I even reached out to Chicken Kitchen to share my frustration, and guess what? No response at all. Not even a basic acknowledgment. That silence told me everything I needed to know about how they view their customers — especially the loyal ones.
If this is how they do business now, I’m done. I won’t spend another dollar at Chicken Kitchen. You’ve officially lost someone who supported you...
Read moreAMAZING FOOD! i was in the Miami area a few days ago and we were looking for a place to eat and stumbled upon Chicken Kitchen. its tiny on the inside, but dont let that fool you, theyve got BIG flavor. I ordered the Bazooka chicken burrito with garlic cilantro sauce and was blown away!! the chicken is grilled to perfection and the rice, lettuce, cheese, tomatoes and all the other ingredients were fresh and delicious. all of the flavors blended so very well together and the garlic cilantro sauce just topped it off perfectly. i HIGHLY recommend eating here. i know i will be going back again when im back down in Miami. Hell, even going down just for Chicken Kitchen would be worth fighting the terrible traffic! do yourself a favor and visit as soon as you can. Also, staff was very friendly and it seems that they take pride in what they do. you can tell in the...
