I'm just going to say it, I love this place! This is a gem in Middle Miami Beach. They have only been open for about 6 months. It's fresh, clean, and modern. We had dinner here and had the beef empanadas for a starter. They're probably the best I've had. Flavorful and crispy, served with a tomato chutney. Long story short, we came back the next day for lunch, just to have the empanadas again! They serve complimentary rolls with a tomato chutney, a fun combination. The ambiance is cozy and romantic. The staff was welcoming and friendly. I totally enjoyed my beef risotto. I got to sample the spinach ravioli with chicken, equally as enjoyable and fulfilling. Hats off to the kitchen. Tho i had to stick with water this night, they have plenty of wine options here. There is limited seating, quite a small restaurant. Do not pass this place by. Prices are well worth the quality here.

This was arguably one of the best meals I had during my trip to Miami! Flor Z. was friendly and provided great service. The food was spectacular with the tenderest and most flavorful steak. The risotto I ordered was second to none, and overall, it is a small but intimate restaurant. The only thing I have to complain about was that the restaurant was abnormally warm, which made it a little uncomfortable. Otherwise, it would have been the perfect experience. However, I would definitely come again and I highly recommend it.

Well toasted baguette with a homemade spicy sauce as an appetizer; you could tell that it wasn't just something done in a rush. Steak was cooked perfectly (I had medium well). Fries were unique and one of a kind: they can be categorized somewhere between french fries and potato wedges. The lava cake desert was the cherry on top; very well made and delicious. Overall, this restaurant deserves the 5 stars I'm giving it: great food, incredible service, and an amazing atmosphere.

So this place is a nice concept BUT I really dont recommend it. It is extremely overpriced -- disclaimer: it's in miami beach tourism area so a markup is expected however the servings of food are incredibly small. I spent 300+ on 4 "quarter servings" of noodles, a salad, and a bottle of wine. We were all still hungry when we left. Also, the tables are so jam-packed together that you cannot get up without having the person behind you move. Ridiculous. They also have a really nice wine selection but you cannot even check it out since they jammed the tables in so tight. Pick another spot. Would have been 1 star but the staff was kind & it is clean...

We found our way to Cook Up Miami after a 9 hour flight. We were lucky enough to get a table, and everything was brilliant. The front of house staff were warm and welcoming, calm and confidently professional. The atmosphere of the whole place was buzzing - cool and convivial. Everything felt very nicely put together. The wines we had were perfect - well recommended for the dishes we'd ordered. And the food was excellent. We had the ceviche - a starter that is ample for a main. And the risotto saltado - which was simply delicious. We really loved the place. It was the perfect treat. Definitely go here if...
