Our experience at Hasalon Miami for New Yearâs Eve was nothing short of a disaster. We had a party of 10 for their second seating, with a reservation at 9:30 PM. Instead of being promptly seated, we were left waiting outside until 10:30 PM. For a restaurant that knew exactly how many guests were booked (considering we paid our bill in advance three weeks ago), this was the first sign of poor planning. Once we were finally seated, the service continued to be abysmal. It took 45 minutes just to get our first round of drinks, and only then did the staff take our food orderâat 11:15 PM. By then the tables at the front were already dancing on the table and we havenât even had a bite to eat yet. To make matters worse, we were informed at this point that they had run out of bread. How does a restaurant hosting a planned New Yearâs Eve event⌠knowing exactly how many people are coming in⌠run out of such a basic item? The real tragedy unfolded with the rest of the mealâor lack thereof. We didnât receive more than half of the items we ordered. For example: We ordered 10 ounces of caviar but got nothingâzero. Out of 3 branzinos ordered, none were served, leaving our pescatarian guests without a proper meal. Even the hummus was unavailable. At 11:50 PM, a waiter informed us that this was all the food they had, and if we didnât get something by then, we wouldnât get it at all. No apologies, no explanationâjust a dismissive tone. Adding insult to injury, when we tried to order a bottle of champagne, we were told there would be a champagne toast at midnight, yet no champagne ever came to our table. Dessert was equally disappointing. We ordered two platters and were given two measly slices of cheesecakeâfor 10 people! The final bill was $450 per person, including gratuity and tax. For this exorbitant price, we were met with terrible service, incomplete orders, and a complete lack of communication. This wasnât just a bad experience; it was outrageous. This place failed on every levelâservice, food, organization, and basic hospitality. If youâre considering dining here for a special occasion or any other reason, think again. The experience was so bad, itâs almost laughableâexcept it wasnât funny at all. Worst dining experience Iâve ever had. Truly tragic and an absolute embarrassment for any establishment claiming to be high-end. Save your money and go somewhere that actually respects...
Read moreNot impressed. This restaurant was recommended to me by a friend who had a great experience. Mine however was not. I made reservations 2 weeks prior for Valentine's Day. Upon arrival, Valet was $80. Great start. Upon entry, the place was very clean and not too packed. We were seated at a table next to the DJ booth. It was very dark to the point I needed to use the candle to see the menu and mind you I have perfect vision. I ordered some drinks and I have no complaints with the bar. Not spectacular but just as good as any other place. Next they brought us bread, very good bread with tomatoes and a sour cream sauce. I had heard the food was good so that's why I came. Well, apparently they were out of pretty much everything I asked for so I ended up with chopped avocados on a piece of toast and that's exactly what it was. I proceeded to order the Tuna Tartar with Beluga caviar posted on the menu for $85. The waitress told me that was the wrong price and that it was $110.00 MORE. So $195.00. I told her I thought she was wrong so she went to check only to come back and tell be they were out of that as well. Ordered Lamb Chops... out of that as well. Kept trying to shove the Branzino on me in which I told her no 3 times. Finally, she recommended the Octopus Carpaccio. Although I had octopus 3 times that week, At least i knew they at least had that...It was not good, it had the fishiest taste I wasnt aware Octopus could have. Very displeased and hungry, I paid my inflated check and went to eat back at my resort at Watr, which was phenomenal. Sorry Hasalon, if you're not going to be open Monday's then just don't open at all for Events your not prepared for. Oh, and you cannot call this place. You have to email and wait for a reply which was quite annoying considering my reservation was made far in advance and Google Maps had it listed as Closed. $300 well spent to...
Read moreHorrible Place. I have worked in fine dining restaurants in Miami including Chotto Matte, Mila, Cipriani and others - that also carry dinner party experience but the level of service and quality of the food was just a joke.
Let me start that we had 30 ppl reservation and spent over 15 k $ that night.
Service was a total joke. Appetizers were brought on CARDBOX plate immitations !!!!! 15k and we were served food on a bloody cardbox - some didhes were going over the edge of the "plate" and food was literally touching the table !!!! My friend was vegan - she adressed it to our server at the beggining. She was very open to eat WHATEVER, just to make sure it is VEGAN. All the appetizers when asked if its vegan, nobody knew the answer, or one girl said "it is but there is sour cream on top". Food was just dropped st the table without a word what it is, and carried ABOVE our heads... Servers have 0 food kwnoledge and were only relying on pre ordered bottles of 1942 that were making the tab, completely ignoring and lying to us when we tried to order or get some info. Mediterranean restaurant has - as we were told - 0 bread options. No pita, no any kind of bread.... Vegan girl asked what vegetables side dishes she could have - andwer was "None we do not have any asparagus, avocado, brussels sprouts nothing" Which now we obviously know it wasnt true. She asked for a salad instead and was brought a lettuce w olive oil. Absolutely nothing w it. 15 k $ table - I repeat. After dinner was done we werent asked if anyone wants some dessert, there was no water at the table after 1 hr, at the end we ordered extra 2 bottles of tequila, we waited for them 20 min on empty table. When drinks were brought to the table nobody even cared to poured them out. Service was a joke, and food was absolutely horrible. There is a reason nobody in the industry talks or goes to that place. A big...
