I tried to get in touch with a manager or customer service but have been unable to.
My partner and I dined in at this location this past Friday 21st. It was approximately 5pm.
We walked into through the front door and the host was not welcoming. It was awkward but we ignored it.
We were sat right behind the host stand. We ordered the edamame and asked for it to be spicy, it came out sweet. To note, the portion was extremely small for it to be in such a large bowl. We ordered 2 salmon rolls and when it came out, it tasted sweet. Our food and the food of multiple tables were waiting in the window for another 10 minutes before the server came and grabbed it.
It took us 10 minutes for our server to come check on us (we were one of 3 tables currently sat during our visit) for us to bring up to her attention that the salmon roll was overtly sweet and I would keep the roll I took a bite out of. She sent it back to the chef and we could hear him yelling and complaining about us as we were sat right next to them.
We just wanted to box up our food and leave because we felt uncomfortable. We couldn't get our server so we tried to get the host attention when she was sitting a table next to us. She turned away from us and we laughed when we saw she had an air pod in one ear and the host head phone in the other.
We went up to the chef to get the boxes and bag. Then we went to the host stand where our server and host were laughing and watching videos, where we asked for our check.
The salmon roll was still on the check which we pointed out to the server. The manager comped off the roll from the check and chose to not approach us (mind you, this was not a busy service) where we could feel heard from the multiple misses throughout dinner.
We were visiting for SOBE WFF and I was excited to visit this restaurant afterward since it was one of my favorite restaurants when I was in high school and I wanted to show off this place to my partner.
I'm honestly just disappointed with the overall experience and looking for a refund for this poor...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Sushi Sake, and it was an absolute delight from start to finish. As a sushi enthusiast, I'm always on the lookout for restaurants that offer exceptional quality and flavor, and Sushi Sake exceeded all my expectations.
Firstly, the ambiance of the restaurant is inviting and modern, with a cozy yet sophisticated atmosphere that sets the perfect tone for a memorable dining experience. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring that our every need was met throughout the evening.
Now, onto the main event - the sushi itself. Every bite was a revelation, with each piece expertly crafted to perfection. The freshness of the ingredients was evident in every mouthful, and the flavor combinations were both inventive and delicious. From classic nigiri to innovative specialty rolls, every dish showcased the skill and artistry of the chefs.
In addition to the sushi, we also tried some of the other dishes on offer, and they were equally impressive. The sashimi was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the tempura was light and crispy, with just the right amount of seasoning.
Whether you're a seasoned sushi aficionado or just looking to indulge in some fantastic Japanese cuisine, this restaurant is an absolute must-visit. With its impeccable service, exquisite food, and inviting atmosphere, Sushi Sake has truly set the bar for sushi dining experiences. Five stars...

Calling this a “Sushi” restaurant is almost insulting to Japanese cuisine. The issues start with the service, continue through every dish, and end with the so-called manager—if you can even call that person a manager.
What a joke.
The waitress didn’t even know what an “inside-out” roll was. After a few frustrating attempts to explain, she finally understood that my daughter simply wanted an avocado-cucumber maki with the rice on the outside. What we got was a sad roll made entirely of rice, with what looked like a scrap of cucumber stuffed in. No seaweed. No avocado. Just a mess.
To make matters worse, we were charged extra for this “no seaweed” roll. When we raised the issue, she tried to fix it—but instead of making a new roll, the “chef” just took the same sad rice roll and wrapped it in seaweed—on the outside. Still completely wrong.
But honestly, that was just one part of a much bigger problem. The food overall was poorly prepared—the fish tasted far from fresh, the flavors were aggressively unbalanced, and everything felt thrown together without care.
And of course, the manager didn’t see any of this as a valid reason to adjust the bill. Zero accountability.
Every single dish we ordered was a bad imitation of what it was trying to be.
Save yourself the disappointment, frustration, and wasted...
