Lime Fresh Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Miami Beach

This location was a major disappointment. I used to come here when Lime first opened, and the food and service were excellent. Not anymore.

I ordered a carne asada burrito, a chicken burrito, and a quesadilla. The steak burrito had maybe four small pieces of meat total — the rest was just rice and veggies. When I pointed it out, the manager brushed me off, claimed the meat must have “shifted,” and even tried to pass grilled onions off as steak. She showed zero care or customer service.

I’ve eaten at other Lime locations (Plantation, Pembroke Pines, etc.) and never had this issue. Here, the manager’s attitude was dismissive, and in the end she just asked me “So what do you want now, your money back?” I accepted the refund for my burrito, but the whole experience felt awkward and unpleasant and I vouched to never come back to this place again.

Bottom line: this location doesn’t come close to the quality or service you’ll find at other Lime restaurants. Save your money and...

I loved everything about my experience at Lime southbeach. My friends and I were walking around the area, deciding where to eat and Lime looked fun and inviting to us. It was my birthday and I was excited to try it. We were able to sit down right away on the patio. We decided to order 3 different types of order tacos and split them all since each order is 3 tacos. We got the Shrimp, Fish and Tijuana. Each plate was $12 or $10 which is way cheaper for regular Miami prices. We loved the tacos!! They were so delicious and u can get homemade salsas from salsa bar which added to the taste. We also enjoyed chips and gauc as well as frozen margaritas. Great restaurant option with Mexican food in SoBe, affordable prices, super friendly service staff. It has refill drinks and one of the best frozen Margueritas in Miami Beach. It has happy hour of food and drinks. There is no parking. Sometimes it may be missing steak to compose your order, but you can exchange it for ground beef, chicken or fish, because LIME is super flexible in changing the ingredients of your order according to your preference.

What can improve: depending on the cook who is working your order comes assembled differently (internally, for example the burrito), they should train better for all cooks to standardize the equal assembly of the dishes.
