I am editing my initial review to this salon because I have been there six times since my first visit and it is not nearly as transparent with pricing or as customer oriented as they were during my first visit. * also when they asked me to place a Google review on the spot! *
The pricing has been different and inconsistent at every visit — even though I always get the same service. I am aware of salons gimmicks and their upcharges based on different nail shapes or repairs.
But at this place it goes beyond that. They give you a “base price” for the service (before nail shape selection or repairs). One nail tech included everything and upcharged me only for the nail shape. The other didn’t upcharge me for the same nail shape because it was the “basic square”. Today I was upcharged for having my nails cut shorter. She told me that shortening the nails was not included in the base price. And no one can tell me what the base price includes either.
I finally asked for some clarification so I could understand the pricing model. I felt it was fair to do so. As a customer, I should be able to know how I am going to be charged.
The response? “ If you don’t like it here then go somewhere else”
Bella - the one who told me to go elsewhere is an excellent tech. The last few times I went, I made appts with her but they double booked her so I was assigned to other techs. That is how I learned about the pricing issues.
I really wanted to love this place because I like her work. But unfortunately she couldn’t care less and told me go to go elsewhere. I tried explaining my side kindly and calmly and yet she couldn’t explain what services were included in the base price and/ or why I was never charged to cut my nails short before. Instead she scalded me for not coming sooner and let my nails grow long.
Needless to say, I won’t return. I know I will find another salon with better customer experience and they will get my five...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of visiting iNail Spa in Miami Beach, and I must say it was an exceptional experience.
The professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail from the staff, especially Bear, Tempe, and Victoria, truly stood out.
Bear's efficiency and talent were evident from the moment I sat down. Her meticulous attention to detail ensured that my nails looked perfect.
Tempe's kind and welcoming personality, in addition to her phenomenal artistic talent, made the entire experience even more enjoyable. She was incredibly attentive and made sure I was comfortable throughout the service.
Victoria’s skills are unmatched; her precision and creativity brought my friend’s design to life beautifully. She is extraordinarily gifted and gracious, too!
The atmosphere at iNail Spa is warm and inviting, making it easy to relax and enjoy the pampering. The salon itself is spotless, and the staff goes above and beyond to provide a luxurious experience.
The location is fantastic, right in South Beach, and they have accessible facilities with parking available in the back, which makes it incredibly convenient.
Additionally, the prices are very reasonable, and you can walk in and get service right away, which is a huge plus.
Whether you're a local or just visiting Miami Beach, I highly recommend stopping by iNail Spa for top-notch nail services. Thank you, Bear, Tempe, and Victoria, for making my...
Read moreIn the beginning it was a rough start. I shared I was allergic to latex and when the staff member arrived she was as wearing a latex glove. Even in Spanish she didn’t understand what sin latex meant. I asked the front staff to intervene and another attendant took over with a huge box of non latex gloves. I don’t understand the confusion but it was resolved. The nail professional was MYMY which they pronounced MeMe. She said as quiet and a tad shy but she was THE BEST IN HER CLASS at not just this salon but five others in south beach. Her skills were FIRST CLASS.
Sadly during the pedicure a fowl odor spread through the shop. I sneezed three times. Later, I discovered it was incense but the smell wasn’t fruity or whatever it was purely rancid. As for someone who had just returned from traveling in largely Buddhist areas with plenty of incense I had never smelled anything so rank.
HOWEVER, the smell could not take away from MYMY’s service. I am anxious to come back. I asked if I could request her next time but oddly no card was given with her name on it. I could my assistant when I got outside to add her to our list.
I wrote to her in Vietnamese that she had the skills of a doctor. Her skills were impeccable.
I gave her a 50$ tip. I was so happy to discover her. I live here, NYC and London. I will be back even...
