Liquor Lounge — Restaurant in Miami Beach

IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR KARAOKE DO NOT COME HERE!!! Our team (active duty Air Force members, staying across the street with all air show participants) were here for memorial day weekend. Closing out an amazing weekend working the Air and Sea show we wanted to have a fun chill night of drinks and karaoke with our peers another successful year. We were rudely dismissed and disregarded by the karaoke guy whom have received several complaints and bad reviews previously. This gentleman told us our group did not belong in that place, we were not allowed in there and we were cutoff. They took our money all night for drinks but not one time brought up any requirements to be in this bar during this time. He stated we needed to have specific wrist bands which were given to get in and out of the air show we were working and did not require wrist bands for because we were in uniform not to mention the wristbands were not used for anything ourside of the actual performance area they would've advised that when they were given. He proceeded to say no one else had been able to request songs because of us when he controls the songs. The males in "our group" had been making request all night but he waited until a female approached him. I do not recommend this location for karaoke it is the absolute worst and the karaoke guy is rude for absolutely no reason. Go else where unless there is a different guy/girl there other than the rude, chunky guy with glasses (someone else posted a picture of him in the reviews). DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT GO THERE for karaoke because he is beyond rude and nasty, and he has many...

I wanna say to the owner of that place that they should really consider teaching the basics for how to deliver customer service to the bartender lady…

I usually am not so disappointed by a restaurant but since we came to your place for a second time — because we enjoy your karaoke entertainment, I have to post a comment to explain you what happened...

Let me tell you that the service we have received from the lady at the bar was really unprofessional…

First, she should learn how to make a piña colada… it was way too much piled ice and very sweet, it was not even drinkable anymore — and second she clearly does not know how to talk to the customers. 😳

She made us wait more than 5min to get our money back and gave us changes with only 1$… When my friends and I tried to receive our change…

Also we told her that we were in a hurry and she replied rudely : « You are in a hurry and I am not. » we explained that we had to meet people, and she added : « I am counting » while she was talking with her male colleague at the cashier at the same time… 🤨 I did not say anything more and just waited on her to finish her counting.

Maybe it was not her day I don’t know 🤷🏽‍♀️ but I am working in service and I would never do that to my customers… That was very direspectful. I hope that Miss bartender will read my comment.

Please avoid any karaoke at this bar if this guy is the karaoke person. We were so happy to have found a fun place to have karaoke for our last night. When we arrived, we ordered a few shots and drinks. We were a group of 5 and there was about 3 other group of people . It wasn’t busy at all. We got to sing about 2 songs and were having a good time. When we realized that no one had been singing for a couple of song, I went to see the karaoke guy to see where he was at in his waiting line. I found out that he had crossed off 3 of our names. I asked him why as I was a little confused. He answered rudely that he had called us and we didn’t answer. I was surprised because we were 5 and didn’t hear any of the 3 names. We were not drunk and the bar wasn’t full of people so we could have heard. Anyways, I didn’t think it was a big deal so I wrote my song in the waiting line again. He took the pad away from me and told me it was over for me tonight. This guy doesn’t look like he enjoys his job at all. He was totally disrespectful and didn’t give us any chance. We were good and fun customers in a bar where it was basically empty. We left a little frustrated but also found the situation so ridiculous. All in all, please avoid this place if you want to have a fun night in Miami. There is plenty of other places for you to go....
