A Taste of Cuba on Miami Beach: Sazón Cuban Restaurant Delights Sazón Cuban Restaurant on Miami Beach offers a vibrant and authentic Cuban dining experience. From the moment you step inside, you're enveloped in a warm and lively atmosphere, complete with the sounds of lively Latin music. During my recent visit, I started with the tostones rellenos, crispy plantain cups filled with flavorful picadillo. For my main course, I opted for the fried fish, a generous portion of perfectly cooked and seasoned white fish. The fish was incredibly fresh and flaky, with a light and crispy breading. It was served with traditional Cuban sides like moros y cristianos (black beans and rice) and sweet plantains, all of which were delicious. Beyond the food, Sazón offers a truly immersive cultural experience. The restaurant features live music on certain nights, adding to the festive ambiance. The musicians played classic Cuban tunes, creating a lively backdrop for our meal. The staff was also friendly and attentive, providing excellent service throughout the evening. If you're looking for a taste of authentic Cuban cuisine in Miami Beach, Sazón is definitely worth a visit. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is lively, and the live music adds an extra touch of magic. Highlights: * Authentic Cuban cuisine: The menu features a wide variety of traditional dishes, all made with fresh ingredients and bold flavors. * Delicious fried fish: The fish is a must-try, perfectly cooked and seasoned. * Lively atmosphere: The restaurant is always buzzing with energy, especially when there's live music. * Friendly service: The staff is attentive and welcoming. Overall: Sazón Cuban Restaurant is a great choice for a fun and flavorful dining experience in Miami Beach. Whether you're a fan of Cuban food or just looking for a lively night out, you won't be disappointed.

During my stay at the Monte Carlo, I inquired with the front desk regarding a reputable restaurant for dinner. They inquired about my preference for Cuban cuisine, to which I replied that I had not previously tried it. They assured me that it was definitely worth exploring, so I took their advice. Upon entering the restaurant, I was impressed by the ambiance and the host's warm greeting. She promptly seated me, and a waitress soon followed. I informed her that I was unfamiliar with Cuban cuisine and sought her recommendation on what to order. She suggested oxtail, but I was uncertain about trying it, so I asked if there was an alternative dish that the restaurant highly recommended. She then suggested churrasco accompanied by moros and fried sweet plantains. The entire selection sounded appealing, and while I was unsure of what to expect, I can attest that it was truly exceptional. The steak was outstanding, and the fried sweet plantains were delectable. The waitress and her supporting staff were equally impressive. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Outstanding Cuban Restaurant in North Beach. We were have a beach day away from Fort Lauderdale and ended up nearby. We have been looking for good Cuban food and we found it in Sazon. Whenever I go to a new restaurant, I always look for the icon to indicate the favorites. In this case the menu had a maraca next to local favorites. I decided upon Sazon Pollo Enrollado Relleno (rolled chicken stuffed with mashed sweet plantains with a sweet chimichurri sauce) with a side of rice and beans and a Coke. The dish was out of this world. Sweet and tangy and savory all in one bite. It was definitely an item to be recommended. The rice and beans were consistent and I added them to the leftover chimichurri sauce for an added kick. The waitstaff was impeccable and I highly recommend this place. The only negative is they don't have a fountain soda machine they serve cans. I'm a big drinker (not alcohol, just drinker), so I appreciate when a restaurant has a fountain machine that they can give us refills. My nitpicky adjustment of this fabulous restaurant.

THE HOSTESS WAS BEYOND RUDE!!! First impressions are everything! The hostess is the 1st point of contact when you walk into a restaurant. We are staying at The St. Regis and were given this recommendation by our driver. 1st the hostess yelled at me to go back outside as if she was speaking to a dog We have never experienced or dine at a restaurant that makes you stand outside when you have a reservation… The hostess tune changed when she realized the man standing behind me was my husband. My husband and I look completely different than one another if that tells you anything he is German and I am not. Our reservation was at 7:30pm she walked us to the patio area and gave us a choice of where to sit this was after seeing my husband’s name and our reservation her tune changed. I ordered a lemon drop martini with grey goose that taste like 100% lime juice only. The appetizers were cold we ordered the beef empanadas and the cod croquettes. For dinner I had the lobster which was cold, over salted and tasted overcooked like rubber, I took one small bite and that was all. My entire lobster other than the tiny bite I took was left on my plate the waiter never came back by to ask how our food was or anything at one point I even tried to get the manager’s attention with no luck. Our server came back to take our plates and he looked at the entire lobster left on the plate and didn’t say a word. The food taste like it was already prepared and just reheat it and overcooked. The food also comes out really fast. I was so bothered by the disrespect of the hostess I called back the next morning and spoke to a really nice lady manager however before even speaking to her the host was rude when I asked for a manager asking me for times why do you need to speak to a manager. PLEASE GET BETTER HOST IT WILL BE THE DOWNFALL OF THIS RESTAURANT! The host sure will remember who I am as she stared as our driver picked us back up in front of the restaurant. We probably were at the restaurant for a total of 30 minutes it was that bad we wanted to get out of there. If you are staying at the St. Regis or Aqualina I highly suggest is skip this restaurant you will not get top-notch service like you are staying at the...

Cuban Hospitality and Flavor at Its Best

On a recent trip to Miami Beach with the family, we stumbled upon Sazón Cubano, and I have to say — what a gem! The vibe was festive yet laid-back, and the atmosphere instantly reminded me of old Havana: vibrant colors, music in the background, and that warm island spirit.

My wife ordered the vaca frita, and it was absolutely delicious. The beef was crispy and flavorful, with just the right balance of seasoning. It came with fluffy white rice, yuca, and sweet plantains that were cooked to perfection. The dish was traditional, comforting, and full of that soulful Cuban flavor.

What truly stood out was the outstanding service from Mateo, our waiter. He was kind, professional, and made us feel welcome from the start. He walked us through the menu and even shared some personal recommendations that made a big difference in our dining choices. Mateo really took care of us, and that kind of service is rare these days.

If you’re in Miami looking for a true Cuban dining experience, make sure to stop by Sazón Cubano. It’s the kind of place you’ll remember long after your meal is over — we...
