Absoluetely love this Starbucks.. for locals like myself, It's our little sanctuary here in Miami beach. Walkable and so many locals come here to work, have meetings and chill while enjoying our brews. I notice there have been alot of changes to staff lately but one of the things I LOVE most about this location is how some of the baristas have literally become like family: greeting you when you walk in, remembering your drink order and doing their best to always do it right, with a smile and warm approach, and if they get it wrong their is no hesitation to remake it. I want give a special thank you to Angie, Rosy, David, Enrique, Luciano and Siaia who are wonderful and so very pleasant over the more than 7 years I've been coming here, since the store opened.
On the other hand, I have encountered a few new baristas, Andrea in particular, who maybe doesnt have that same level of hospitality and on more than one occasion has been rude and snappy with both me and other patrons getting their drinks. This I've witnessed personally.
Though I completely understand things can get hectic, customers may be grumpy, lines can be long, etc.. I do hope that Starbucks takes into account that one bad apple can deter customers from coming back...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI came every morning and everything was ok until today, when they treated me very badly while agreeing with me (weird). So I normally ask for a Chai with almond milk and espresso. Today they served me a small vase without Chai, only latte (cow milk). When I approach the counter to explain the mistake and get my coffee, they agree they were mistaken but when I talk about the size, the woman starts shouting to me with sudden movements with one arm āThis is what you paid forā. She would repeat the sentence 3 or 4 times, without letting me speak. Then, I said I would pay for the difference that I only wanted my coffee. And she said she was going to prepare it as I wanted it but that I didnāt pay for it, then, pointing my first mistaken coffee says āyou paid for thatā. Weird experience for a simple coffee, and for being 8.30am. Hated being shouted to, looking down to me, and embarrassed as the shop was full. I just wanted to make a review about it, but Iāll probably come back. Thanks...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have visited many Starbucks around the World and here in Miami we have LOTS of locations however this one is amazing, their seating area is larger than most Starbucks with Patio seating including facing Collins avenue and Seville Hotel.
You know what youāre going to get when you walk into any Starbucks however in this location donāt be surprised if their friendly staff will make food or beverage suggestions.
The store is kept extremely clean the mobile app is very helpful since parking may be limited, Jesus the Store Manager greets every customer as the walk into the store and makes you feel welcome.
I normally get the same drinks but Jesus established a quick conversation and suggested I try the Nitro then they gave me a taste of it.... not only I have a new favorite drink but also a new favorite Starbucks location.
If you live here or are visiting South Beach make sure you stop...
