My daughter and I decided to go here for lunch on Sunday, 09/25/22 because I had a $100 groupon for it and this is our way of trying new places. We've had a lot of hits doing this and very few misses but food wise, this place was a total miss. This place deserves a 1 star but let me explain why I gave it 3.
It's a cute little hole in the wall and you can sit outside and people watch as well. My daughter and I each ordered the gyro platter which comes with two side. We both ordered a greek salad and I had feta cheese and she chose beans. Each platter was $25!!!! Yes, their prices are ridiculous. A simple burger is $20! We also ordered a personal peperoni pizza for my grandson which was $15 and 3 canned sodas at $4 each. Whatever mystery meat was on our plate WAS NOT gyro meat and it was completely tasteless. The pizza they brought my grandson tasted like grocery store frozen pizza and it was alright but definitely not worth $15. If I were reviewing this place completely on the food, I would give it a negative 10 stars but I guess 1 would have to do. Now on to why it got 3 stars.
The servers were AMAZING! Very attentive and on point the entire time we were there and that is why I went from 1 star for the food to 2 stars because of the staff. My total bill was $98 with 18% gratuity already included (they gypped themselves because I was going to leave them 20%) and tax. My $100 groupon (that I only paid $37.50 for) covered the bill 100% and we left. That brings me to why I gave it an additional star that brought it up to 3 stars. Had I paid out of pocket the entire $100 bill, well...first of all, I would have sent the food back and walked out but since I only paid $37.50 for this mess, I considered myself lucky.
So there you have it, they get 1 star for the food, 1 star for the amazing wait staff and 1 star because I didn't get ripped off paying these sub, no better yet, way, way, way below par...
Read moreI had the pleasure of dining at this establishment recently, and I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The level of service provided was truly remarkable, leaving me with a lasting impression of professionalism and attentiveness.
The highlight of the evening, however, was undeniably the incredible Turkish cuisine offered here. Every dish I sampled showcased the rich flavors and authenticity that make Turkish cuisine so renowned. From the savory kebabs to the tantalizing mezes, each bite was a delightful journey through the vibrant culinary traditions of Turkey.
The attention to detail in the presentation and preparation of the food was evident, and it further enhanced the overall dining experience. The ingredients were of the highest quality, and the flavors were perfectly balanced, ensuring a memorable and satisfying meal.
Beyond the delectable food, the ambiance of the restaurant was inviting and tastefully designed, reflecting the warmth and hospitality of Turkish culture. The knowledgeable and friendly staff were more than willing to provide recommendations and answer any questions, adding to the overall enjoyment of the evening.
I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone seeking an exceptional dining experience in Miami. Whether you are a connoisseur of Turkish cuisine or simply looking to explore new flavors, this restaurant truly stands out as a gem. Impeccable service, mouthwatering dishes, and an inviting atmosphere make it a destination that should...
Read moreFood was not good at all. Dry meat, dry falafel, dry pita bread etc... Waitress didn't really care, even after we complained twice.
We ordered a plate of lamb shish kebap and a vegetarian plate. Please read below for details:
Vegetarian plate:
bean salad was good hummus tasted of vinegar (didn't eat it) tabouleh consisted of parsley only (didn't eat it) mixed salad was ok pita bread tasted as if bought from the supermarket, not fresh and not properly heated (didn't eat it)
-- not to recommend!!!
Lamb kebap:
meat was ok, a little dry and tough rice was ok mixed salad was ok pita bread as descibed above
-- you can eat it if you are hungry
But the real problem was that the waitress did not ask how we found it, even after returning an almost full plate. When she came to take the plates I mentioned that the food was not good and explained her all as. She listened and was nice. 2 minutes later she brought the check.
No offer for a drink, no discount, nothing! At this point I was very disappointed and said that I do not feel treated well at all and am not happy. I felt like "just pay and get the hell out of ere" and told her that. She apologized and said that there is no manager and she cannot do anything, then she offered me a glas of tea, but that was all too late. Now I am sitting here 30 minutes later and sharing my very bad experience at this (so called) restaurant. Should be renamed to an imbiss or so...
