Turkuaz: A Local Hidden Gem in South Beach I cannot stop raving about this incredible Turkish restaurant! Turkuaz has become our daily haven for authentic Mediterranean flavors and exceptional hospitality. The food here is amazing! My fav is the lamb gyro platter and it was so good - the meat was super tender and came with rice, fresh salad and tzatziki. Their gyro sandwich is also fantastic with lots of meat and the best homemade tzatziki sauce! 🥙 You have to try the lamb kebab too - it's cooked just right and tastes incredible. I also tried their kavarma (a Turkish slow-cooked dish) and wow 🍖 One of the best things about Turkuaz is their all-day breakfast served until 4 PM! It's a lifesaver for late risers 🍳 For dessert you absolutely must try their baklava with their Turkish ice cream 🍯. I love it because it's not as sweet as what other places make. The service here deserves special mention - the staff treats you like family, always greeting you with warm smiles and ensuring your dining experience is perfect. The Turkish tea is authentically prepared and served in traditional glasses, while their coffee is rich, aromatic, and the perfect way to end your meal☕️ Whether you're a Turkish cuisine enthusiast or just looking for an exceptional dining experience, Turkuaz is an absolute...

I had breakfast here and have mixed feelings about the place.

The atmosphere is great—nice music, cozy setting, and delicious food—but...

When you usually order water, you're given tap water, not bottled (which costs an extra $3 here). It’s not a big deal, but the server could have at least offered a choice or given a heads-up.

The biggest disappointment was the check. When I asked for it, the server brought a portable POS terminal showing only the total (without itemization) and suggested tip percentages like 18%, 20%, etc.

I chose 20%—I'm happy to support the staff—but this pushed the total higher than expected.

I typically skip receipts, but given the surprising total, I opted to have it emailed.

As you might have guessed, the receipt revealed an 18% service fee already included, which the server didn’t mention.

Many places that include a service fee suggest additional tips of 3%, 4%, or 5%, not 20%, considering you've already paid an extra 18%. So instead of paying $10 plus tips, I ended up paying over $20.

It's not a huge deal, but it felt a bit like being scammed.

I get that this is Miami Beach with lots of tourists, so maybe you don't prioritize returning customers, but this isn’t good...

I’m absolutely thrilled to share my experience at Turkuaz Turkish Cuisine, a gem in Miami that has captured my heart with its authentic Turkish delights! From the moment I stepped in, the warmth and hospitality of the staff made me feel right at home, reminiscent of the vibrant streets of Turkey. Every dish I savored was a culinary masterpiece, bursting with flavors that transported me straight back to my homeland.

The lahmacun and pides were exceptional, with just the right mix of spices and freshness, making each bite a joyful discovery. However, the real star of the show was the paça soup, a special meat soup that resonated with the tastes of my childhood in Turkey. It was simply divine!

Turkuaz Turkish Cuisine isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a haven for anyone looking to immerse themselves in genuine Turkish gastronomy. The dedication to quality and the genuine care for customers shine through in every aspect of their service. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone craving a taste of Turkey in Miami. Turkuaz is not just good; it’s poised to be the best in Miami for...

Came here again after 2 years. I remember that I wasn't impressed by the food previously, decided to give it another chance. I ordered lahmacun, it looked pathetic (see the pic), not much meat on it and dough was on the thick side. It felt like a frozen lahmacun that I bought once in Brooklyn turkish grocery store. I'm probably spoiled by BURCAK PIDE in Brooklyn, NY, but this lahmacun was just wrong, I was genuinely angry. My partner tried it and said that it was "eadible". I just didn't eat it and ordered gyro wrap instead. It was ok, not much meat inside either, I guess they cater to semi-vegetarians here, plus, fries were pale. Again, I'm spoiled by Taci's Beyti in Brooklyn, NY with their plentiful and delicious gyros. It was the saddest dinner I ever had in Miami and definitely won't be coming back to Turkuaz, I'm scarred for life by their cruel and unusual punishment of bad food.
