We rented two beach cruisers from the venue and were given the "best" bikes in their inventory. There were at least 20 or so bikes in the store that were all broken with flat tires, broken wheels, missing chains and broken seats. This was an obvious warning that we failed to heed. We started off slow and noticed that both the tires on my bike needed air and the seat kept moving, I should have turned back right then. We made it half way to the south beach peir and boom the chains pops of my daughters bike. I fix the chain. We finally make it to the peir after riding slow and barely applying any pressure to the pedals. We then decide to make or way back up the beach and bam the chain pops again. At this point we decide to return the bikes to the venue, after fixing the chain yet again, we head back to the venue. Seeing that we are about a mile or so away my daughter tries to ride the bike and sure enough the chain pops and her knee his the handle bars splitting her knee open. HORRIBLE!! We walk the entire way back and turn the bikes in only to be met by the most volatile customer service I have ever had. I explain my situation to the girls at the counter and the blame game starts. "Who checked the bikes out?" "Not me, wasn't me, not me either" no one wanted to take responsibility for doing a safety check. The manger was no where to be found and when the girl called him she told me "my manager doesn't care, I'm sorry." They refused to refund money, they refused to fix the issue or even try to make the situation better. Please take this review as solid advice and DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH BIKE MIAMI!    Read moreWe rented bikes on 9/17/21 for a whole day. The gentleman who got us into the bikes was very helpful. He told us we were to return the bikes on 9/18/21 at 7pm. He even highlighted it on me receipt and asked me if possible come at 645. We showed up the next day at 630 pm and they were closed. We called 3 times no answer. Knocked on the door no answer. So we came back right when they opened at 9 am on 9/19/21. There was a Caucasian worker who opened the door. I said hi should we give you a second to get together or can we come in. He ignored me. My cousin said excuse me sir he ignored her. My other cousin actually walked in and said excuse me we'd like to return our bikes. He still ignored her for a minute then said ok you can drop them off. He proceeded to ignore us again. He got on the phone and had an unprofessional conversation with someone saying he's calling out he's not working etc etc. I told him I needed a receipt that shows I'm not being charged an extra day because I came to return on time and they were closed. He said his computer is not responding and gave me a copy of my original rental receipt.    Read moreMy and my girlfriend chose Bike and Roll to rent a couple of city bikes for a day and had an awful experience. The man working in the store was rude and the bikes were in horrible shape.
They ask for payment first and then give you a bike. They did not have any that would fit me (6ft 3) and when I received a bike with a flat tyre that did not fit well I asked for a refund. I was shouted at to get out of the store and that refunds cannot be provided. I had to phone the police to help resolve the situation.
In the end we did get the bikes and paid 107 dollars for a 24hr rental for 2 bikes that were in terrible shape. We later realised that it would have been cheaper to just get the Citibike (which are maintained regularly ).
One more thing to add is that they provide no repair kit and I was informed that if my bike breakes they can't pick you up due to staff shortages and you have to get back to the store somehow.
We came to return the bikes at an agreed time the next day only to find that the store is closed as the keeper is away on a tour for 2 hours (thank god we had some time left before our flight).
