Friendz Food Market — Local services in Miami Beach

It's expensive but like every little market in the area, I used to go there often because it's just half a block away from where I work but today my experience wasn't very good with the cashier who told me "thank you ma'am" I replied with a smile/ laughing a bit that I didn't really like to be called "ma'am" just because I don't like the systematic gendering of people "but it's Florida" and maybe I should move to another state. He then asked me "so what would you want me to call you?" Apart from "my name" which is obvious answer I answered what I thought you should call people when you don't know their names: "I don't know, something gender neutral" I replied to which he gave me an unfriendly look and rolled his eyes in contempt. The staff in this place are lovely, all my interactions I never had a problem. Although I found it quite expensive being that it was beside my hotel and 7/11 basically sold nothing edible this was my hotspot! I was able to grab items to make sandwiches etc. The alcohol didn’t have a large selection my first night in here I was looking a bottle of vodka and they didn’t sell none, maybe this is licensing laws? not sure? however, as the liquor stores were closed i was able to grab canned “cocktail” drinks which were nice just not high percentile was like drinking juice. Do not use a credit card here! i used my credit card 12/01 on a SQU square machine the day before my cruise. While i was on the cruise it was used 6 times before i was able to cancel it. I know for sure it was from this machine because i only used this card once in miami beach (at this store) and all the charges were from the same area in florida.
