Review of Villa Azur: A Night to Remember with Bartender Mario
Villa Azur is not just a restaurant; it’s an experience. Nestled in a charming spot, this establishment offers a blend of sophistication and warmth that immediately sets the stage for a memorable evening. But what truly makes Villa Azur stand out is their star bartender, Mario.
From the moment we walked in, Mario’s presence was felt. His charismatic energy and genuine enthusiasm for his craft are infectious. He greeted us with a smile that made us feel like old friends and quickly got to work crafting some of the most exquisite cocktails we’ve ever tasted.
Mario’s knowledge of mixology is unparalleled. He effortlessly balances classic techniques with innovative twists, creating drinks that are both visually stunning and delicious. Each cocktail is a work of art, meticulously prepared with fresh ingredients and a dash of his signature flair. We were particularly impressed by his ability to tailor recommendations based on our preferences, resulting in personalized concoctions that perfectly suited our tastes.
One standout was the “Azur Bliss,” a refreshing mix of elderflower liqueur, gin, and a hint of lavender, beautifully garnished with an edible flower. It was as delightful to the palate as it was to the eyes. Another highlight was the “Midnight Serenade,” a rich and smoky bourbon-based cocktail that Mario skillfully infused with a touch of espresso and chocolate bitters. Every sip was a revelation.
But it’s not just Mario’s skill behind the bar that makes him exceptional; it’s his ability to connect with guests. He takes the time to share stories about the inspiration behind each drink, turning every interaction into a captivating experience. His passion for his craft and dedication to creating memorable moments for his guests truly elevate the Villa Azur experience.
The ambiance of Villa Azur complements Mario’s artistry perfectly. The elegant décor, ambient lighting, and live music create a sophisticated yet relaxed atmosphere that makes you want to linger. The rest of the staff are attentive and courteous, ensuring that every aspect of the dining experience is top-notch.
In conclusion, Villa Azur is a gem of a restaurant, and Bartender Mario is undoubtedly the star of the show. His exceptional cocktails and warm hospitality make for an unforgettable evening. Whether you’re a cocktail enthusiast or just looking for a special night out, Villa Azur with Mario at the helm of the bar is an...
Read moreWe had dinner at Villa Azur this past weekend with some friends to take advantage of Miami Spice and try out this restaurant which has great reviews. I will not go back. The place is very nice, elegant and modern style. They have a DJ mixing the whole night and the music was great, dance songs, a bit loud sometimes but it was different and we liked it. The drinks a the bar were THE BEST, I had the organic coconut caipinha and a passion fruite puree, both were delicious. For dinner I chose the MAC TRUFFLE AND CHEESE CROQUETTES, for entrée I had the IBERICO PORK TENDERLOIN served with risotto, and for dessert had the COFFEE LIEGEOIS. The appetizer croquettes were very good, the serving portion was generous as the 3 mac and cheese croquettes were big (others in the table ordered the mussel and shrimp salad and were very disappointed, and others ordered the octopus and they liked it, it was an additional $8). About 20 minutes later the food came, during all this time the waitress never came by our table (of 12) to check on us...Almost everyone had the pork tenderloin with the risotto, what a bad choice. The pork was dry and flavorless, there were 4 tiny pieces of pork served on top of a mountain of rice, I left the pork and ate the rice. After we were done eating they took another 20-30 min for the dessert to come out, they forgot one person in the table. After waiting some more time (we were all done with our desserts by then) the waitress stopped by and we asked for the missing dessert, HE COUNTED THE PLATES ON THE TABLE! Seriously? Then took another 10 minutes to bring out the coffee ice cream...Then time for the check, he didn't want to split the tab, for some reason only did it for two couples who've had drinks, but put some of their charges on our tab and refused to fix it. As we were all friends, we paid for the other couple's charges and left out. Needless to say, we will not be visiting Villa Azur after Miami Spice. Just to throw this out there, what is the point of participating in Miami Spice if you are not going to provide the same quality of service as to other guests ordering from the...
Read moreI would give this place 0 stars but unfortunately one is the least I can give. Went there yesterday with a group of friends to eat dinner for a buddy's birthday party. The server was completely rude, drinks took about an hour to an hour and a 1/2 to arrive and that is the 1st set and maybe another hour at least for the 2nd round. Food was OK despite the horrible service but not worth the aggravation. To top it off that isn't even the worst part. When I valeted my car I had another set of keys inside my car for my other vehicle which had my house keys. I leave it inside my vehicle on top of my ash tray. When I got home from the restaurant lo and behold the keys are not in sight. Thank goodness I was able to get inside my house at 2 o'clock in the morning with my garage door opener. When I woke up the next morning I called the restaurant and sure enough the valet guy had the key. I spoke to the manager which his name was Andre's Which had the audacity to tell me that it was my fault that his Vallet person took my other keys because I left them inside my car. YES, THOSE WERE HIS WORDS VERBATIM! He then stated that if I wanted them I needed to go pick them up. After getting in a dispute with him, he hung up on me. I called the restaurant and spoke with the manager which was also extremely rude which makes sense since everybody in the restaurant including the Vallet and the servers are rude. The owner of the restaurant had the nerve to tell me that he had my key and that I can go pick them up but at my keys weren't important enough and that he was extremely busy at the restaurant and I hung up the phone. I will never ever, ever, go to this restaurant nor would I recommend this restaurant to anyone. Now I have no choice but to drive almost an hour from my location, to pick up the keys. Worst service and worst...
