My review is largely the result of my personal experience with what was my first, and in all likelihood last, ever session at SoulCycle. For context, I am a regular and keen 6.4ft road cyclist not new to spinning classes and very mildly hard of hearing.
tl;dr: a fine spinning class you should absolutely avoid if you dislike loud music.
On the pro side, nice environment (clean, towels + water + good cycling shoes provided), good quality bicycles (although the front handlebar couldn't be raised much) and friendly and helpful staff both at the counter and in the class for bike adjustments.
On the negative side, the very loud music incessantly hammering throughout the session in a low-ceiling room. That gave me a persistent headache (something I never suffer from) throughout the session, making it so difficult for me to follow the instructor that, after 5min, I gave up on the class, set the resistance level to a fairly high gear and cycled on my own as one would in a solo spinning class, hoping for a power cut to occur and kill that unbearable noise.

Staff was great and each instructor brings something different to the workout so it was great to be able to experience different workouts.
