Paraiso Tropical — Restaurant in Miami Lakes

Was truly disappointed Saturday when I ordered at the window. We usually sit inside and come here often. The food has always been good. The service lately makes you feel rushed and as if your being thrown out.

On this particular visit Saturday, I ordered at the window to go. Then added a pizza to my order while waiting. One pizza came out along with my other food. So as I am waiting at the window for my other pizza I see that I’m assuming an Uber eats driver comes back in and gives back an order of 4 pizzas.

The manager on shift looked through all the boxes asked my server what I was waiting for and told her to give me the pizza that was taken from the restaurant and brought back by the other customer . I told the server no that I would wait for a fresh one.

I have a lot of questions here. I hate to leave bad reviews especially that I am a frequent customer but those pizzas that came back to the restaurant should have been thrown away! How are you going to offer a pizza to a customer that was taken from the restaurant and then came back! What if that person put something on the food, spit on it whatever the case may be. Very concerning and something that should be addressed with management!

My husband and I visit this place regularly at least once a week or 3 times a t leas in a month. The food we’ve ordered by far has been good we have eaten several menu items from chicken, beef, and fish. Great taste! However, the one annoying this is that the servers tend to rush you. They constantly ask if everything is ok and hover over you to get you a to-go box and the check. They over do it when they helicopter the table. Sometimes you just want to eat your food slow or chill and keep ordering maybe a dessert or something else. It’s not the first time it happens which is why I’m leaving this review. Been coming here weekly for years and have always had nothing but good things to say. But after the remodel and re-staffing (don't see many old faces). I have had horrible experiences (plural). This last week I ordered by phone and when I went to pick up I waited for 25 minutes and my food was in the counter already ready. But the girl refused to look up and continue charging credit cards, and when she did say she was going to help. She disappeared for 10 minutes, needless to say my food was very cold. Before that they just keep making mistakes with my orders, every order ive placed in the last few weeks have had mistakes (food not as ordered).
