At dinner the meal was nice. We caught the tail end of happy hour so that was a wonderful surprise. The drink/bar menu is extensive. We had EVERY appetizer on the menu and ordered the shrimp agua chili and fish and chips multiple times. The Tuna tartar was good as were the empanadas. As to the shrimp agua chili a little disappointment as each time it was prepared (we ordered 3) it was prepared differently. (First, no watermelon or onion; then no watermelon with onion, thurd rime with onion and no watermelon). Each time was good but terribly inconsistent.
Tabla was served initially with grapes and without olives. Missing tge salty bite of an olive we brought tgis up to the server who went to kitchen to bring us olives.
Salmon Tropical for dinner and it was great, no complaints there. It was a wonderful explosion of flavors; perfectly cooked.
Annoyed when Manager swung by table to inquire on our happiness and my feedback on consistency was dismissed. More like, he asks each table as he is expecting you to gush about how good everything is. But if you have issues or concerns he really wasn't focused on hearing you, he's already moving on to the next table.
The next morning, after staying at the hotel where the restaurant is I came downstairs at 11:09 AM and the restaurant would not serve me coffee as they closed at 11:00 AM. Even though there was a half-full dining room of people eating. Didn't like this on the restaurant being u r there serving guests of the hotel AND that the hotel didn't provide this simple service to their guests (I've included in their review as well).
As this is the case, I think the hours of the restaurant should be VERY prominently posted. The attitude I received from the restaurant staff was to look at his watch, scowl, shake his head and approach me like I should have KNOWN they were closed (again the restaurant was half full and the front desk had just sent me to the restaurant when i asked where the closest place to get coffee was). Upon approach I asked him if I could get a coffee to go ... "No ma'am we're...
Read moreChecked in yesterday, and enjoyed breakfast today. Still sitting here and had to leave a review! Ordered the avocado salmon toast and shrimp grits! Everything was delicious but the grits specifically were phenomenal and worth the buy! And that’s coming from a Chicago native!!
Specifically want to touch on customer service which was the reason for my review. We were served by a a young man named Jewells who quite literally was one of the best servers I’ve ever come across. He was outgoing, had a great attitude and spirit about him, made great conversation and served us like we were old friends… the dining area got busy pretty quickly and not once did he neglect us or any other table. He made his rounds checking on all his tables, and was very much quick and efficient. Give this man a raise!!! This is how you provide excellent service. I would book this hotel again just for Jewells!...
Read moreWe celebrated our daughter’s First Communion at Mosaico and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. The staff, specially Juan Carlos y Oriana were incredibly kind, attentive, and really made us feel taken care of throughout the event. The food was delicious, everyone kept talking about how good everything was! The space looked beautiful, it practically doesnt need any special decor, and every detail was thoughtfully arranged to match my big group that included kids. You can tell the team puts a lot of heart into what they do. The Tostones with ceviche, the arepitas, the tequeños and Lomo Saltado where delicious. We’re so grateful and would absolutely recommend this place for special...
