This place is lowkey battling for my loyalty with another local gem I found recently—but I had to finally show some love to Playa Bowls. I’ve been a loyal fan since last fall, and honestly, it’s one of my go-to spots in Miami when I need something refreshing, energizing, and photo-worthy.

I’ve sampled a few of their smoothie bowls, but the Pure Vida Bowl (pictured here) is the one. I swap the honey for a heavy peanut butter drizzle & always ask for extra granola but regardless, I highly recommend this Açaí bowl and place especially if it’s your first visit and their large selection of menu options feels a little overwhelming.

Aye, but wanna know a little pro tip? It’s not just tasty—it fuels you. Great post-clean meal or healthy snack run if you’re out in the city or fresh off a workout.

As someone who runs a cleaning company here in Miami (@Cleanology Cleaning Company- Miami), I appreciate places that feel clean, vibrant, and consistent and Playa has so far continually delivered on that each visit.

Keep up the good work team Playa...

Just went to this place for the first time. Had my service dog & some random woman had her German shepherd running around. The woman saw her dog running at us and tried to catch the dog. The dog was overly excited, on the verge of aggressive when she started to take a large squeaking toy and began to smack the dogs to try to get her dog not to be aggressive. My dog was in heel looking up at me & the few people in the store were also questioning what was going on. I recalled my dog to the other side & said excuse me to the woman. She then dragged the dog away while it was barking, and it didn’t stop for several minutes and the woman was taking selfies. The girl next to me and I asked if they could remove that woman & they said she was the owner. Needless to say, never going back. Embarrassed for the employees (who seemed very good especially given the circumstance) & am blown away with how inconsiderate the owner was. Smoothy was not great - was the Dulce....

I recently visited Playa Bowls in Midtown Miami for their one year anniversary. The atmosphere is vibrant and inviting, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a healthy treat, especially after a workout. The menu offers a wide variety of delicious and nutritious options, from acai bowls to smoothies and cold brews. I tried the tide bowl, and it was packed with fresh, flavorful ingredients. The fruit toppings were perfectly ripe, and the granola added a delightful crunch. The staff were friendly and efficient, making the experience even better. They were knowledgeable about the menu and happy to make recommendations based on my preferences. Overall, Playa Bowls in Midtown Miami is a must-visit for anyone looking for a refreshing and healthy snack. I can't wait to go back and try more of...

Açaí Texture: more on the frozen icey (i prefer creamy, it’d taste more legit like in Brazil or Hawaii but I’d just go to those restaurants in Miami with authentic açaí) Açaí Taste: on the tart side which is paired well with banana & nut butter but anytime i request almond butter it get a tiny drizzle. Not enough to compensate the tartness. THE REAL PROBLEM/GRANOLA The normal & gluten free granola tastes like sugar cereal. The only granola that is bearable is pumpkin flax. There is already fruits and sugar in the açaí we do not need sugary granola. KEEP THE PUMPKIN GRANOLA YEAR ROUND. Listen to your customers. The reason why you guys have reviews saying the açaí is bad is because of the overly sweet granola that is advertised as normal granola.
