Wow....this might me one of the very few times I start my review with that word. By now you would know I'm a coffee drinker and I appreciate a good cup of what I call fuel especially in the morning. Always looking for new coffee shops but sometimes when you're not looking that's when you find these places. As usual I happened to be close to this establishment, City Centre to be specific and needed my morning fuel and this place had a good rating on Yelp so I said why not. People this is the best cup of pure coffee l've ever had in my life. There is a story behind the roasting process and how the owners of the shop met and started this journey because the young lady told me it but honestly I don't want to make up facts and I was so excited about the coffee I missed a lot of key points of the story but basically the husband was blown away with the roasting process done in the mountains of Venezuela and being an engineer and all, he decided to do the same here, at this place. They take longer than usual when roasting the beans and that makes it less acidic, 70% less and therefore more enjoyable as supposed to the regular Cuban coffee perhaps. I ordered the Greca which is basically like a colada and it comes in the metal coffee maker that most Cubans use in their household, sure you've seen it in coffee shops, with a side of milk and a cup all placed on top of a wood board. Needless to say, the presentation alone is beautiful if you're a true coffee drinker. The Greca could be for two people, I drank it all by myself, or the one for four people, and the coffee really is amazing and way less acidic than any other coffee I've even tasted. The side of milk had that foam we love so much when ordering a Cuban colada so that was like a bonus for me. They seem to have delicious breakfast sandwiches and lunch sandwiches as well like the Avocado toast but I came here for coffee today. Staff is super friendly and attentive, you even get the story before placing your order and they ask you about the coffee as soon as you take a sip of it. This joint has become my favorite coffee place and that's a lot to say since l've never had a "favorite" coffee shop up...

My family told me about Puroast Coffee and I have enjoyed receiving all the orders that I have placed with this company. With my recent order, I was concerned because it took longer to be delivered than it has in the past. So when I received an email stating my order was complete, I contacted them just in case there might have been confusion with the delivery. When I contacted them via by email, I received very unkind replies from their Customer Service Department, which really surprised me. I guess they thought I was complaining when I inquired. I realize they are busy, and I'm sure trying their best to get their orders out in a timely fashion, this I understand. But I only inquired because I was concerned something was wrong. The email replies I received were rude and they even capitalized their wording. Unfortunately, I will not order from them again, and not because their coffee isn't good because it's wonderful, but customer service I believe is also important and this was not shown to me at all. A very disappointed customer :( :( 3-21-19 Update I would like to add an additional comment. I received a very caring email from the Customer Service Department and it greatly assisted in restoring my confidence in them. I want to thank them for reaching out and...

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Customer Service Excellent, I was greeted in a friendly manner the minute I walked in the store, my questions were answered and everyone was very sweet and friendly and knowledgeable.

⭐️⭐️Coffee (the important stuff) if I base my review entirely on the quality of the coffee and the preparation I would probably get this coffee shop 2 stars, I have an 8 ounce hot beverage with two shots of espresso and I barely can taste the espresso - it is so weak it doesn’t even hold up to 8 ounces of milk, not good! In addition, the steaming process was just all wrong, by the time I opened my lid about 2 minutes later, I was left with half of a cup since the milk was not serenade correctly.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Food I only had the avocado toast with a poached egg on top and it is amazing! If this represents the rest of their menu they definitely know what they’re doing when it comes to food - highly recommend.

For me as a coffee shop owner, when I go into a local coffee shop the most important thing in the shop should be the coffee! yes they have amazing customer service, yes they have amazing food but if you don’t have the core of your business (coffee) right, then you’re NOT a coffee shop you’re...

When I come to coffee shop I expect to get a high quality coffee. Unfortunately this is not the place for it. I ordered Greca coffee. I tried this before many times in other places, but here it was not tasty. I cannot say what exactly was wrong: maybe too strong or the way of brewing it was wrong. But it’s not what I would highly recommend As far as I didn’t like it I ordered Americano. And it came out to be so watery and extra hot. Even Starbucks coffee is way better. After being disappointed by the first order, I ordered Americano, had to wait until it het cooler and then it appeared to be watery:-( I didn’t try the food. I left before ordering breakfast. But the prices are very cheap! You can check it out if you a looking for cheaper options for breakfast and coffee
